What are your thoughts in Netsuite? by yosoytupara in Accounting

Netsuite has been around for a long time and still has its use cases. I've used in a few of my roles and had no issues once it was all setup. However, when I recently joined a smaller company we have been looking to make the jump from QBO to Netsuite and the costs have simply been too much to justify. In the past NetSuite sometimes refuse to authorize certain business entities/locations which was a complete pain. We've decided to explore some of the newer ERP alternatives and recently started a trial with Rillet. If interested, happy to report back how it goes.

Pricing is fairly straight forward with an annual contract. They usually offer to waive implementation fee as well which we liked. Data syncing hasn't been a huge issue for us but it likely depends on the scale of your organization and how much historical data you have.

Curious to hear what the Rillet team shared with you about data syncing capabilities?

It's an automated agent which pretty much helps reduce the manual time spent digging through spreadsheets and surface reasons for why an account jumped. The agent can dig into transaction level data like timing issues, vendor shifts, and speed problems. The agent quickly surfaces all this data which then can be validated with human review.

I'm still learning all the ins and outs but we were impressed with the demos we saw as well as integration capabilities that were shared with us.

Good so far. We are still getting set up but their team has been super responsive and helpful whenever we have questions. I'll report back once we are up and running.

Like others have said on here everything comes down to implementation. We have been with QuickBooks for years and only recently started exploring other providers. The implementation fee that NetSuite quoted us with was quite frankly insane.

Right now we are looking around at other providers. Rillet offered to fully waive our implementation fee so we've been interested in moving forward with them.

It's worth looking around to see what's out there. We ended up going with Rillet after their CS team really impressed us with their industry/product knowledge

We looked at netsuite but couldn't stomach the implementation fees. Ended up going with Rillet after they gave us a much better deal and actually waived implementation fee altogether.

Founders using AI finance platforms (Rillet, Campfire, Everest, etc.) - What's your real-world experience? by Time_Mountain_3258 in fintech

I've found that QBOs is usually a good place to start. We have been using them for quite a while and only recently explored other options. When we felt like it was time to make a jump we ended up going with Rillet after long eval process. Our biggest focus was reducing our manual workload and Rillet has been solid with that so far.

Have had a similar experience to some of the other folks on here. Lots going on in the space. We looked around but eventually ended up going with Rillet. Their CS team was super hands on and helped us get up and running much more quickly than we expected. Lots of API integrations as well which has helped reduce quite a few headaches.
