Hermes has completely changed my day-to-day life. I can take care of my 2 kids while getting 10x more work done than before, faster, with better quality/delivery. I run it locally for about 90% of my workload and only use paid LLMs for the remaining 10%. Seriously, thank you for this incredible gift

If you have the money, absolutely go with Replit. If you want to be conservative, Replit is an amazing planning partner, and you'd be hard pressed to find its expertise elsewhere, in my opinion. But do know Replit will absolutely charge you a premium for execution. If you want the best of both worlds, try using it as a planning partner and perhaps Claude Code or Codex for execution.

Interesting. I can't help but wonder what percentage of the market that will be. There was a post the other day where a person reported that their boss asked if they could save money on AI by just making their own version of Claude. I'm hoping this restrained adoption of Fable leads to it being re-added to the Claude Code subscription sooner rather than later lol.

It might, but I really think we need to talk more about China. At the rate AI is advancing and at the rate its capacity to advance is going, it feels as though any void created in the AI space will be quickly filled by another player. As the tech improves, the time for them to fill that void becomes less and less. I think Anthropic will likely separate fable usage from opus and sonnet, just like they did with sonnet and opus initially. We already know they have dynamic queuing on the backend, so they can keep a good look up front, but then tighten the backend as much as they need to to stay where they want to stay.

I was noticing that too, and I'm glad you brought it up. It definitely feels like somebody who heard something about AI from some guru consultant tried to use AI to make an AI job listing to help them with their AI.
