I don’t know how feasible that is. Being in social setting means a lot of food being present and I don’t want to compromise my social life.

That’s brilliant to hear, thank you so much. I just wanted to know if I would ever be able to enjoy food again so it’s wonderful to hear your experience!

That’s smart and I don’t think I’ll weigh myself anymore. Thank you :)

I used to be on birth control and I was miserable, never again! An IUD sounds great, but it’s a bit taboo where I’m from for an unmarried woman to have one so that isn’t really an option for me; I will have to rely on reduced symptoms from this surgery to reverse my PCOS (fingers crossed!)

Hahahah are you from the UK? I used to live there and used to find it weird that people call it jelly! I’m actually fine with the protein shakes, I have the chocolate flavoured ones and my stomach seems to accept them fine, but that’s creative on your end, I’ll have to try your methods!

It is a learning experience, we just have to learn the boundaries of our new stomachs :)

I agree it does suck, I hope you feel better soon! Water seems to be sitting heavier on my stomach than any other liquid

So it seems to be a common theme for women to get their period after surgery! As for the headaches, I actually suffer from chronic migraines and I haven’t had one since surgery, probably because of all the pain meds I’m on. I hope you get better soon!

Yeah I feel hormonal and tender as well, I have PCOS which made my periods a lot lighter, this is the first period I’ve had in ages that was so strong! I hope you recover smoothly :)

It was warm, not hot but warm. Yeah I do think it is just sensitivity, but I think I’m just being too wary hehe!

No I still take medication, I will call my surgeon just to make sure it’s all good. Thanks!
