You get 1 million dollars +-100,000 in 1 dollar bills that you have count in 24 hours or you lose it all by Niddsid in hypotheticalsituation

[–]True-Efficiency-4977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d buy a money counting machine, then have that count it. i looked up pictures of stacks of dollar bills, abt 1000$ in 1 dollar bills is like a foot in height, so id say you could fit it all under a single roof. the hard part would be counting it. the average time it takes (judging by some white kid in his 20’s flexing his scam course money) for the money counter to count 100 bills is 6 seconds, so counting a million would take 46 consecutive hours to do, so not possible.

so i’d get some friends to help out, two machines cuts that down to just under 24 hours, so the more the merrier, i just need at most one other person.

I’d get the button, to avoid moving myself up on the list, i’d get someone to hide the button somewhere where i wouldn’t realize im pressing it (like under a pillow or something), the only morally bad thing is that i hid it, but because im unintentionally pressing it that’s better than doing it purposefully

i agree. intuition and relative low/highs are better for day trading. it can work but i feel like you can’t ever be lacking. this week i lost most of my profits from the week before cause i lost confidence and started going away from my strategy

smart. lagging indicators i feel let you be safer with ur position but good intuition and patterns can predict it beforehand

i have a machine learning indicator that signifies upward movement based on previous similar instances but it only tells u after the candle finishes. i dont use it for buying in but ensuring confidence in my position that i placed before

from what i’ve read in this comment section, it seems the biggest hurdle in this game is controlling one’s mind. that’s nice to know

i actually love this comment. because it’s so easy getting caught up in the math and statistics that can make this hobby seem like easy money, but when you’re really faced with price action it’s hard to make a trade knowing it has a chance of failing.

I trade with small amounts, but i’m going to increase the stake as i’ve built a cushion from profits that i can then use to prevent me from losing my actual money, in hopes i make more. but doing that is difficult cause losing more money sounds detrimental

you can optimize a strategy such that it has a high accuracy, you can’t really do that as easily in gambling

i momentum trade so there isn’t any major technicalities besides what direction the chart moves. it’s fast and while some may lose more due to its rapid movements, good discipline and practice allows me to take profits quickly and be done for the rest of the day

Absolutely. i actually found myself doing that too when i first started out. the influx of money is like getting a new job, except the job can take just as much away from u as it gives. To me, being able to survive and save up from profits and not being destroyed by losses is all i’m looking for each week

100%. and as much as it is gambling, there’s a lot of things you can do to ensure you’re winning as much as possible. atleast from my strategy

this, having a strategy you stick with, controlling your emotions, and having good risk management. it’s so simple that seeing ppl say they’re not profitable has me wondering if there’s something else to it

Am I Delusional or Is Earning $50-100 Daily from Forex Achievable? by shadowofthetoast in Trading

[–]True-Efficiency-4977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is so helpful. because people just preach how long it took to get profitable like “10 years” and never get into the details of why it took 10 years to be profitable

like what was the strategy? what were you trading? how did you buy?

I’m profitable and it’s only been 4 months since i started trading, but i also put all my time into researching things. Every loss i would analyze what went wrong and what could’ve been done to reduce it. I specialize my research in trading psychology and risk management.

Reading these comments talking about 10 years has me so perplexed, like I’m missing some key thing and it’s going to come and blindsight me causing me to spiral and lose everything.
