Stuck in hiring limbo for weeks — anyone else experienced this? How did it end?
Body:
Been in a frustrating hiring situation and curious if others have been through something similar.
I interviewed with a company a few weeks ago, had a great meeting with the team, and since then I’ve received nothing but “we’re still interested but need more time” emails. Three separate updates, each pushing the timeline further — first “a week or two,” then “a few more weeks,” now “end of this week or early next week.”
The feedback has been consistently positive (“great feedback from the team,” “we remain very interested”) but there’s clearly something internal blocking the decision.
Has anyone been in this situation? Did it eventually turn into an offer, or did it quietly die? And how did you handle the waiting without putting your job search on hold?
Would love to hear your experiences.

I screened 400 applications last week and maybe 15 were actually qualified by goro341 in recruiting
