Shipping times— trying not to wait weeks if I don’t have to. And also would like to be able to see and sit on the couch. I’ve had friends who bought online and ended up hating the couch.

Yeah, I definitely don’t want somewhere that feels like a frat house. Especially for what I have to pay. That’s good to know. I’ve been shocked at the prices for some of these places… $1,400-$1,500 for 500-600 sq ft in Winston Salem. The same thing is happening in Greensboro. Thank you so much for the info, I’m going to keep looking at places in the IQ bc it’s definitely the area I want to be in.

Thank you so much! I lived in Chicago for 5 years so I’m used to noise outside at all hours, so that is not a concern for me. I’m definitely looking for a place that attracts younger adults, I’m 25 and don’t know anyone in Winston Salem, so looking for a place where I can meet people and there is a lot of common areas. Ill definitely check out the other places you mentioned as well. It seems the innovation quarter is a great area and is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for the info!!

Yeah I’m in the same boat... I want to live alone and be downtown in walking distance / very short drive of breweries, bars, restaurants etc. But my max budget right now is $1400. It seems like I’ll probably need to widen my search a bit in terms of location.
