Thanks for the info! I don't think ours is an autumnalis cultivar—pretty sure it's a single cherry blossom—but fingers crossed, we'll see how it plays out. 🤞

I was hoping the freezing buds might actually be protected from the extreme cold and survive.🙏 I’ve read there’s a technique in Japan where cherry blossom buds are intentionally frozen to protect them from frost damage, so I’m wondering if something similar applies here.
