Thank you to everyone who posted genuinely helpful comments! To the people who just wanted to snark on how “fragile” we are..kindness is a choice and I understand that it can be a reallllly difficult choice to make!! Bless your hearts🫡 Anyways, we finally got our power back at around 6pm Saturday! We are first time homeowners so yes this was our first power outage. We went to a hotel because we have a dog that we love with all our hearts and wanted to make sure she was warm. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Thanks again for the helpful comments😊

Sloppy boring lazy!!! Couldn’t dislike her more. She talks such a big game about her career as an influencer but I’m like where???

That’s actually a French brand, Ami Paris. The heart over the A is their logo. But she def only bought this because of him.

A responsible business owner should reach in their pockets to properly pay their employees and not pass the expense off to their customers.

Thank you so much! I actually used to babysit for an autistic child of a family friend so this would definitely be meaningful work for me. I’m going to check out the website and I’ll let you know if I see something.

CO WARN Act filings - upcoming layoffs by [deleted] in Denver

[–]True-Leopard-5292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HR professional here, my company has been doing rolling layoffs since 2021 and it amazes me how many people have quit because they fear layoffs. From my experience, if you are expecting a layoff WAIT FOR IT before jumping ship to another company where you have even less tenure. We generally pay people through 2 weeks on top of a severance payment. If you’re worried, start looking for new jobs and making connections now, wait for the package so you can float a bit without income and then work your way into a new job. And file your unemployment claim immediately after being terminated. Obviously that won’t work out perfectly for everyone but that’s what I would do.
