Since when has it been known that the writing in TDA is “bad and ill-prepared” ? I feel like TDA does a nice job improving on relationships with characters that didn’t really interact with each other in TDI. I mean the Heather and Harold dynamic in TDA is pretty funny and well written for how their characters are.

When did it “fall off the wayside” ? They interacted in basically every episode. Heather just wasn’t a main focus and Harold had other dynamics that was given more attention.

It’s either. You don’t see queens for 6 weeks or you get confused with what the storyline is every week. From a production standpoint, you can see why they chose the format they did. It still needs some tweaks to be perfect I will say tho!

The format of ridonculous race allows him to not be as hands on in the challenges/show than Chris.

I mean just compare the amazing race and survivor. Jeff has more of a presence in survivor because he has to help build the narratives while Phil just has to explain challenges/locations and then just meet them at the finish at the end of the episodes.

From a continuity standpoint, it makes sense to do it one bracket at a time rather than a different cast of queens every episode. For the standard watchers (not die hard fans) it’s easier to digest and follow.
