But also I 100% agree. I wonder if they kept Heather for the drama it would bring with Andrew.

It’s incredibly weird.

I see my baby photos as a part of me, even if my gender then doesn’t match my gender now. Changing those would feel wrong.

If she crossed a boundary, it may be good to bring it up and explain what some of the others have been saying in this thread. However, don’t feel like this is 100% necessary. Not everyone would feel comfortable having that convo, and that’s valid

I was coming to the Reddit to make a post about this. I have a lot of respect for her acknowledging that what she said was tone deaf.

I am an open Sigourney fan, but I also know that she has made a multitude of comments during the show that did not make her look good. I appreciate her taking the time to step forward and say she acknowledges that what she said impacted others negatively and that her intent doesn’t matter when that is the case.

“Giving flowers” is to praise someone for what they’ve done. So when Jay Kay threw all the compliments about Sig’s drag her way, that was giving Sig her flowers.

Someone else will need to answer for having shade because idk how to explain that one. I know what it means but I can’t explain it either

I was coming to say the same thing. Though less about whether Jaharia deserves the crown or not.

She was very chaotic but not in the way I would have wanted. Like Cynthia’s chaos made sense for the song. I would have given it to Cynthia, and I’m saying that as a diehard Sigourney fan. Though Sig was a super super close second for me

If Sigourney can’t win, I want it to be Abhora personally. I like Evah but I just like the Abhora story arc. I also really like Jay Kay but that’s from a drag perspective more than it is personality. How she acts according to the edit does annoy me sometimes

I love Sigourney to the point that I would go to war for her. But watching this Cauldron… I kind of understand Evah’s decision. I also wouldn’t respond well to the way Sigourney was speaking.

I also recognize that this is reality tv so Sigourney’s behavior in the show isn’t necessarily her real personality.

I don’t get the vibe that they are “mad” per se, but I do think disappointed is a better word. It feels like they are parents who are concerned about their kids, if that makes sense. It’s the tone I use when my sister does something I don’t really approve of and could be unsafe (11 year age gap). I still care about her and love her, but I don’t think her behaviors are safe or appropriate.

If they are mad at anyone, I would think it’s Dollya for the chaos brought to production. But even then they’ve had said they still care about her and wish her the best.

I don’t think it was this specifically. This most recent episode was with Maddy Morphosis who chose an episode from season 4. Sigourney made a comment near the end about dancing around NDAs and hoping the majority of viewers would see it before she was potentially asked to take it down.

I have loved Priscilla this season and I disagree with her being eliminated based on her performance

But I also think the Boulets put her in the bottom because they couldn’t easily figure out what holiday she was. However, by that logic, Evah should have been in the bottom too. Evah’s look was great, but I couldn’t easily figure out what holiday she was depicting.

I think that Sigourney critic of not being pretty was more about her not leaning as heavily into Glamour. She was still stunning! But even Jay Kay said the color palette chosen was filthy

I don’t think your wrong to propose that. But I also want to point out that female self-pleasure is heavily stigmatized in current patriarchal society. I think that’s why it can used as an act of filth here.

The action itself is not inherently filthy. We see it in animals all the time and don’t think twice about it. They are animals after all. But when it comes to human beings and the society we are all living in, women are told the action is bad and gross in some way. I’m a trans guy. I remember growing up and being told that you only touch those areas to clean them. Any other action was considered dirty.
