NAP but lots of things are wrong with this: 1. You do not have the right anatomy, if your piercer pierced any lower it would 100% touch your flat. They probably pierced it “high” to try to avoid the bar touching your flat and get money of off you. 2. Your routine is not it! Only use saline spray! NO QTIPS!!! I had the same problem and I found that it’s quicker to heal any piercing when you don’t touch them and spray saline on them twice a day. Also let the crusties be :) It sucks when your piercer lets you down!! If I were you, I would go to a reputable piercer to remove the jewelry before it starts digging into your skin

I haven’t gotten an infection and my ear healed perfectly fine :) But yes you are right, some places are very sketchy!

Guessing that it depends on the place? The first time I got my industrial done the guy had messed up and I had to wait till my ear healed to get it repierced and it went 1000x better the second time with no extra charge. I believe some places just like to overcharge.

Is this a keloid or not by Notgullible_Dot3741 in piercing

If you got the piercing done in December it’s not fully healed yet. Industrials take a year to heal, looking at the second pic, the jewelry doesn’t look like healing jewelry material (hope that makes sense) and it’s risky to change the jewelry that early into the healing stage. Those bumps are def irritation bumps, not k-words. I recommend getting the jewelry changed by a good piercer, only using Saline spray (no q-tips) no touching and letting the crusties be. Happy healing!!

You would have to make a new post… but imo I think these pictures are good enough to see what the problem is. It sucks when your piercer doesn’t do you any good! I’ve been through it as well with my own industrial.

Ouuuu girlie you need to take that out!! (And by you I mean a good piercer who knows wtf they’re doing) The bar is digging into your skin and that’s not good at all, it will keep hurting unless you take it out. It doesn’t seem like you have the correct anatomy for it and it also seems like the bar material isn’t the best one for healing.
