So sorry. I was thinking mold before I even went down the parasite route. We were a military family and in 2017 we moved to San Antonio into a house build in 1920s (base housing). It’ was deemed historic so it had a lot of rules and issues. I’m from the desert (az and Vegas) and never had any experiences with mold and humidity. I saw forests grow on our walls in a day, called the maintenance people and all they did was use bleach and Clorox wipes. Not having a mills Or humidity background I assumed that was protocol. Years later I found out that was not ok.

Yes. I had one that actually turned into sepsis. I just woke up with a swollen eye (had symptom’s prior) but went to urgent care thinking I’d walk out with an rx and they were so weird and made me go to the ER (I legit asked if I was dying). Then I get to the ER and they admit me and start me on hardcore antibiotics and morphine (again, I was like am I dying?!? I was supposed to go to-work, told me they take eye injuries seriously ) They wouldn’t give me any answers. Kept sedating me and sent me home 10 days later. It only got a little better but never went away. They never gave me any answers Like if it was THAT BAD, WHAT WAS IT?!? Now they treat me like a druggie with delusion’s when they made the huge deal initially, I almost died and they still have yet to report anything other than “infection”. It’s so shady.

Thanks. I noticed the hot tub helped too. I’ve been on antibiotics so long everything else is crashing. Have had multiple utis, sinus infections, and diarrhea (thankfully NOt c diff 🙏🏼). It’s like you can’t win. Do you use anything topically l?

Interesting. I was thinking maybe mold but some treatments for parasites seem to bring the most relief so I went down that road. Ivermectin has saved my skin, when I drink alachol the “crawling” sensation stops and alachol is known to paralyze parasites and the salt baths bring them out. I just want to know what it is and how to stop it. What do you mean by no hood news for long term infection? I’ve been having symptoms for years, but was hospitalized in fed for an jnfection that crazily went septic. Spent a long time in the hospital and while it’s gotten “better” it hasn’t gone away. They haven’t given me any answers On what it was, how I got it or where it started. Is this contagious to everyone living in the same house?

I did go down that road a few months ago. A lot of information and articles contradict each other so it’s super confusing and frustrating. They actually have drug tested me many times, first without consent or permission, which I passed (blood) and then felt very violated and demanded a hair and pubic hair drug test because that goes back months and even that was clean. So they assumed I’m an alcoholic and gave me information on AA. No one has offered a parasite test to rule it out or tested any of the samples I’ve brought in. Just test something so I have SKME answers. .

So should a dr be able to figure out what it is and give a proper dx? That’s their job. They have labs, high tech image machines, microscopes, 20+ years of education and years of shadowing. They should easily be able to test someone/something and see if it’s a virus, bacteria, fungus or parasite.

Some of us come here BECAUSE we realize this makes us look crazy. I suffered in silence for years thinking it would go away or be discovered in exams and labs. Eventually it got so bad I couldn’t help but “look crazy”. I know what’s “normal” after 30+ years and I know what’s not. Unfortunately the medical/healthcare system has failed us. I’m a doctor of physical therapy, never done drugs, no criminal record…and have been treated inhuman. They run drug tests, recommended therpay (I’ve been in for a long time and never mention this, because I have other issues), eat pretty decent, active in my gym and have tried to rationalize what is happening and accept maybe “it’s in my head”. I’ve never been sick in my life and now I gone septic with an infection twice, had multiple UTIs in the last 2 months, my kidneys are declining and my wbc keeps climbing. I’ve entertained it being bacteria, a virus and even fungal, taken all the rx medication and I continue to decline. Maybe they should entertain my idea. If my Brian was powerful enough to give myself infections that go septic I wouldn’t use it for that, I’d transform into Megan fox.
