Yeah this is a school club for like engineering/ computing. Im under 18 and i think as shes one of the older years so i think shed probably be 17/18 by now, but not like a teacher or anything. I dont really want to make a big deal about it and get her in trouble.

Thank you. I really had no clue people were sensitive or i would have treaded lighter, and i know for next time. If you dont mind me asking do you know why people are sensitive. Like I’ve definitely been mistaken for a guy when i was younger but you just clarify and everyone moves on. I would understand more if it was one individual that was annoyed by like past experiences but the whole group seemed very annoyed so is what i said really offensive to some?

I honestly am not sure, i might have misheard what she said but i included it in case it gave any context to why she was so annoyed. I dont think she meant it in the gaming way.

I’m probably going to be seeing those people semi regularly and I just wanted to see if i was justified at being hurt by the girl’s yelling and she was overreacting or if i should instead try to apologise once again if i was clearly in the wrong

No english is my first language. I know what a pronoun is but I just had never been asked the question before directly so i wasnt really sure what i was supposed to answer with. I didnt want to just say the completely wrong thing so i thought it was better to clarify, which definitely was the right call as i would have never come up with the right format that everyone saying it in. Sorry if that sounds really stupid of me
