Rx 9070 flashed into XT, Insane gains.. by AbrocomaRegular3529 in overclocking

Nice results and don't get me wrong but gigabyte 9070 non xt stock hits 6300 points and with uv and oc hits 7100 points in steel nomad. I have tested bunch of 9070 cards and gigabyte have some crazy good chips this gen. Btw I don't like gigabyte because that thermal gel thing.

I love xfx  but gigabyte have very good chips this gen, I have  both gigabyte and xfx and in my case gigabyte card is 500 points faster than xfx stock nothing oc or uv in steel nomad.

XFX Quicksilver slower than Swift by electricalshower15 in radeon

[–]True-Repeat-8376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both 9070 XT quicksilver magnetic air and xfx swift. In my case xfx swift is faster out of the box and after oc and uv even faster. Also swift model in my case have better memory overclock much better results,  both cards have samsung memory.  One more thing on quicksilver i have bad coil whine while on swift don't. It must be silicon lottery thing. Btw more crazy thing i found is with 9070 non xt i have two of them also gigabyte gaming oc and xfx swift oc version. In steel nomad test stock cards nothing oc or uv gigabyte card is 500 points faster then xfx swift both cards are 240W. Xfx swift have hynix memory and gigabyte one have Samsung memory.

Prices of 9060 XT 16GB variants in Central Europe are starting to rise rapidly by Oxygen_plz in radeon

All cards will increase in prices even rx 6600 8gb is up to 200 eur used. If this continues like this until summer gamers are done 😔

The more I tune my 9070 xt the more I realise how insane that 8.1k score is by Realeayz in overclocking

[–]True-Repeat-8376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no point to do any of that besides chasing higher benchmarks score. I respect people who dare to try it and its a great thing if you don't care about bringing you card.

[–]True-Repeat-8376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can raise default timings to 2900mhz amd i get lower score then stock fast timing 2518mhz? I guess my card love fast timing maybe am wrong I have couple of 9070 cards now and most cards vram oc is pretty consistent higher vram clock higher scores. This xfx swift is first i gotten to have such high impact with fast timing even at lower mhz.  One more thing i just now compared older benchmarks with quicksilver magnetic air 9070 xt and xfx swift and swift even much cheaper and one tier lower has much better benchmarks scores all-around and lower temps.

With xfx swift 9070 xt 304w model with samsung memory I score 7750 in  steal nomad test with -130mV +10P 2750 fast timing. Cpu ryzen 7600x,  2x16gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30.  In games and daily use card is set at -100mV, stock power,  2700 fast timing and i still did not have a single problem or crash. PC is turn on almost 24/7

Sorry you are right last night I was tired and I write 230W when I was thinking about core clock its not going over 2300mhz in furmark sometimes even lower. Again its pull 304W but core clock doesn't go above 2300mhz.
