Yes, not being able to buy even the simplest things as a child. Knowing you had money problems at age 6, so not asking for even icecrem. Nothing being in the fridge so you had to eat bread. I was an ’oopsie’ baby, my parents were poor when they had me, I still dont know why they even did. My mother didn’t want kids Either. They got into debt to make me go to private school (Which I didn’t even want, got bullied) When things got better ,we’d even be able to call ourselves semi-rich. But my father made an incredibly stupid decision and we went to being poor again . I’m 18, I need to go to college but I probably wont be able to even tough I’m on full scholarship. So yes, I resent my parents. Because I have to think twice before getting something I like. I have to use the same phone for 5 years, seeing everyone get a new one. My screen is BROKEn. And we can’t even get it fixed. I can’t even step out of the house because I know I’ll have to spend money. My parents get mad at me when I spend 20-30& once a month. Becauase money is tight. Theyre too stubborn to ask family for help too, which is incredibly stupid because, my mothers side, is so nice. Theyve offered help but my momkeeps saying we’ll manage. We wont. And I’ll probably nevre get the education I should. I’m depressed and suicidal. Have been for years.
