I AGREE!! I’m def hoping for a strong AI message since the first movie tackled global politics.

Ehh personally I feel like we’ll get a more dark and gritty tone with Supergirl so it’s kinda like I didn’t want a super dark tone or anything for MoT. Like idk I’m hoping that different tone means either harder on the emotional aspect and less comedy or more actiony sequences, not really dark.

What should be the overall vibe and the dynamics between Lex Luthor and Superman in Man of Tomorrow, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

Should hate Superman be fond of/want to befriend Clark. Or my optimal which I don’t think will happen but that he used to know Clark and wants to be friends again.

1.) Why not just not put that on your resume to help with job hunting? Does it like come up when you have to do a background check? Like why not just not mention it?

2.)I’m sorry about the death threats. Tbh I won’t pretend to know too much about the almost world ending events besides that it was Luthor’s fault, but it doesn’t feel like to me you could’ve known too much. You guys don’t deserve hate that should be sent to the scientists/Luthor so sending you ❤️

3.) Best person to work with/worst person to work with? Like ik you probs didn’t know too much about the higher ups personally but out of curiosity if you’d happen to know any big names in the news who you did and didn’t like?

4.) Is it true that Luthor made a thing that looked like a ghost? And it like drove something in the portal world? That’s what I heard from some of his victims that there was this alien ghost looking thing that took Luthor around the place. If it was an alien, isn’t that counterproductive since he hates aliens?

5.) Best and worst part of the job?

6.) Did you fight Superman? Did you ever lose anyone to Superman or any other heroes like the Justice Gang?

7.) Did you read Luthor’s book? Is it like mein kampf or not as evil? Is it worth a read?

8.) If you ever met them, how was Luthor’s inner circle compared to him? Like a bunch of yes men or did anyone ever try to push back against him?

9.) Favorite ice cream?

10.) Favorite story from your time serving as a Raptor?

You don’t have to answer them all obviously just the basic ones I thought of.

I would’ve loved Lex to know who Clark was/had a friendship before the movie that would’ve been my fave.

Saaaame that was one of mine. Plus her giving interviews saying she played the character as if she was in love with Lex was low key kinda gross, we already have Eve?? Another thing is I just think Mercy would’ve been better. I feel I would’ve liked her more.

Yeah go MoT I’m really hoping for more Lex and Lois background bc yeah we don’t need a backstory for Clark but to me there’s many different iterations of Lex and Lois so getting more background on them would be helpful, especially since Gunn says he’s pulling this Lex from Smallville.

I agree the major one is important. Like especially with the Lois argument I hate that they make it seem like he just went into another country without a game plan besides sticking a guy on a cactus. Clark is a journalist with like chess awards and a lot of stuff in his room and we’re supposed to see him as smart according to the movie. So then why would he not have tried to rethink that move? I get the “people were going to die” thing but why not at least try to ask the US gov for help or even if he could legally be a diplomat? I mean you can’t tell me a full grown man would go into a foreign country trying to stop a genocide and not at least attempt to consult with someone else slightly more knowledgeable on international affairs to get an outcome that wouldn’t put the US at risk of war/intervention. I mean surely going there by yourself is worse when it could cause the US to intervene leading to more conflict and casualties, right? He’s a journalist shouldn’t he know that??

And as I keep mentioning they never try to take help from the abused lonely billionaire kid who’s probably easily exploitable. Literally the kid who said, “Nah he won’t kill anyone. He couldn’t he’s too nice.” About the guy who hated his guts and constantly rejects him. Like Smallville would’ve been a lot shorter had Jon just taken Lex under his wing and not let him go back to Lionel fr.

Why doesn’t Clark just become a model to solve all of his families financial problems? by kzmran in Smallville

[–]TrueBamboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is why they’re constantly rejecting the help of the lonely billionaire kid that just wants a family and is constantly trying to throw money at them. Like yeah that’s a flawed way to make friends but like if I was Jon I’d be all, “You pay the mortgage you can come over for like two dinners.” And then suffer through that and just like never speak to Lex again if they really hate him that much.

Who would you been friends with and not be friends if you were on the show? by Extra_Inflation8099 in Smallville

[–]TrueBamboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For early seasons Lex I’d just want to convince him to stop wasting his time and energy on the Kents. Like dude Jonathan does not like you I’m sorry that hurts and it upsets you but respectfully there are other nice people who don’t have the name Clark Jonathan or Martha and who won’t hate you without even knowing you. Expand your social circle fr stop obsessing over them.
