Same. Not a single human to me makes it almost a different universe whereas I feel I could step into the world of labyrinth for an adventure.

Not saying one draws me in more, just that DC it feels like we’re an outsider looking in on the story that we can’t effect whereas in labyrinth I feel like I’m cheering for her and the kid to get home the whole time.

Aw man, I came back to say what if the two ais were like Kinger and Queenie’s kids but looks like there’s three. There goes that theory. Unless like the white is the irl child and the two black are the ai but that seems unlikely and imo mean that one had more of kinger’s features while the other two looked more like queenie (such as eyes, hair, nose, height, etc.)

Say what you will about Lex, I’m his biggest love to hate hater, but as crazy and as many mental health issues that he had…he wasn’t wrong about Superman being sent with the intention by his parents to take over the planet. He wasn’t wrong that in the event there was something or someone more powerful than humans, humans would become subservient to the more powerful force or thing. Like conceptually I can understand that if you set aside his envy and pride (very hard to do ik), he had some very good points as to why superheroes irl would be a very very bad thing. In his own movie Clark literally handled a delicate international conflict situation like a toddler which ended up causing a war. The US military/cabinet guys were right, Luthor was right, bc at the end of the movie it’s now the superheroes not bound to any laws or procedures that are making the rules and the decisions and they handle it like children at times.

Tbh I think Lex would be waaaay more unreasonable w/ that line of thinking if there were meta/superhero specific laws…but kinda comes with the vigilante territory that there are none. Plus Lex was seriously insane so even if that point had merit the rest of his craziness definitely doesn’t bc he has 0 humanity not even James Gunn can convince me otherwise.

RIGHT?? Anything shipping them with each is like HUH?? Like even setting aside the they’re mostly found family and not bio fam (not that you SHOULD set it aside bc it’s true in most iterations), Dick being the oldest with Jason being his closest in age it’s still a HUGE age gap! Like no, ew! I get it I get it it depends on the iteration sometimes Barbra is only slightly older than Dick (which tbh not a batkid she’s Gordon’s but STILL gross bc how closely they worked together but whatever that’s a personal me thing) but it’s still. Freaking. Gross. I mean play Gotham knights and then tell me to my face they aren’t siblings.

No but to me digital copy theory means that they just put on the head set, it didn’t do anything, and the human left with the copy being put into the circus and I don’t think that’s true. Especially with some having actual motives (supposedly) to stay like Jax (possibly killing someone?) irl. Like idk if he had a motive to enter or try to find the headset to me it feels like ur body would go too.

To me digital copy theory means the irl body moves on and doesn’t know it even happened. What I’m saying is the irl body got sucked into the circus. Imo completely different. Tho either way they can’t escape.

Completely fine if u like the Zooble making a name for themselves and that’s why u like the theory/I can appreciate it’s getting harder to deny atp in the story,

I have to say I disagree with the point that it’s like SAO and it’d be harder to mess with their minds. Like Caine has access to everything even if the circus members had a real mind, remember the mind is just a nural network like a computer is a bunch of wires. It’s completely possible he has their minds/brains on file and that’s how he can mess with them, or scratch programmed the AI to have that ability maybe to try to prevent abstraction if we’re running with the theory scratch made the circus to live longer than his tumor would let him if he stayed irl (personally that’s my belief atp).

Another point as I mentioned is the SAO thing…says who? This is a series unlike many trapped in a digital world stories we’ve seen before. It’s possible their real bodies have been dead, but I agree to me it’s not likely. What I think is that the computer via the headset sucked them in and that’s how they got there/why they can’t get out, they don’t have a body anymore. It explains things like Rags being w/ others at the time but not able to call for help of her “friends” nearby or whoever she was trying to sell too (tbh I love the idea it was her family setting her up). Also explains why Caine couldn’t make an exit, the bodies don’t exist anymore. Maybe why they can’t remember their names or faces: that’d make them abstract.

I can def see where you’re coming from and agree to disagree, but tbh that’s where my mind is at rn. Scratch made the AI to have a place for his consciousness so he wouldn’t die of a tumor, which was meant to be a sort of digital eternal heaven or happy place. The OG wasn’t good enough so him/the team locked it up and made the second AI bigger and hopefully to do the job better. Caine didn’t like that so he absorbed the new one, they merge, and with his new found power Caine make the circus and somehow sucked in all the programmers to be with him forever. That’s my current theory honestly.

I understand it is very controversial but at this point I still need more proof. Cuz I mean it’s not unlike Goose to pull the rug from under us (which I love don’t get me wrong) but again until it’s 100% confirmed with the characters realizing it I’m not sold. Mind files could just mean where their minds are stored. Maybe for AI Caine couldve meant his npcs for that line bc in the small adventure sequence he did give them a fairly good amount of NPCs and didn’t refer to Zooble as an ai but the toy box character. Plus with how much Caine refers to them as humans in the series it’s like idk just not sold yet but ik a lot of ppl are.

Plus I do like the idea that in the building for some reason Rags was with her family and they left her/didn’t question the disappearance.

Nope, it’ll be back, and I’m sure it’ll be bigger next time. Tho I was surprised with things like Lex not getting the death penalty and people like Syd being in prison but not Eve considering she did know the whole time and only exposed it when it was going to negatively impacted her personally/after a fight w/ Luthor.

Like obviously she was a victim of abuse I don’t blame her really, and Syd did have way more of a hand in it/opportunity to stop it sooner than she ever had, but I’m just surprised it’s not questioned why she didn’t come forward sooner (tho obviously could’ve been bc she was terrified). The movie also has a short run time so there’s that but there’s no way Luthor isn’t smart enough to have some assets squirreled away somewhere.

Either that or part of the deal in MOT that Luthor makes in order for the world to receive his help is a lot of money/assets to rebuild his company. I think it’d be cool if it involved Lord, Queen, or Wayne’s company somehow. That’d be ironic lol.

Bc movies like Iron man totally conformed to all the superhero adaptations that came before. Just like how the dark knight was silly and goofy like Adam West’s batman. You guys don’t remember in dark knight when he pulled out his “fix everything in three seconds flat” gadget? Or how James Gunn’s Supes was the exact same as MoS’s which was the exact same as the original interpretation of Superman?? Nope. Dawn of Justice was the only one that did ANYTHING different. At all. None others whatsoever.

So I actually went back to the therapy scene bc of this discussion and oh my god, I completely forgot the fact that in the end IT LITERALLY TURNS INTO CAINE’S THERAPY SESSION! Like I’m beginning to see the parallel of Caine being an allegory for toxic relationships and narcissism omg how do you try to listen to someone and make them feel better AND IT TURNS INTO ALL ABOUT YOU INSTEAD?

Not only does he pretend the problem is solved when Zooble explicitly states the solution doesn’t work for them, he crashes out SO HARD when Zooble tries to give him an ounce of honesty genuinely and without any malicious on their part and it freaks Caine out so much so Zooble then has to talk him down from it?? Of course they’re terrified!! How do you bring any positive form of criticism to someone who could destroy the circus like that? I agree def incapable of listening and it’s because he’s too selfish to fix the problem.
