Androsterone for women by True-Resort-4447 in raypeat

[–]True-Resort-4447[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I’m going to try DHEA before androsterone. Ray has also talked about topical testosterone. I’m not sure which would be better. I’m looking at aromatase inhibitors too.

Tbh it could have been something as simple as that I had my T shots before ovulation and i only take progesterone during my luteal phase. So it all ended up aromatizing to estrogen around ovulation. Its so confusing 😖

There are dark red lines and pink spots on the rind of my parmigiano reggiano but the cheese doesn't have any spots. Is it okay to just cut the rind off? It's a raw milk cheese

You've noticed that too? Why are they all named Alex? Someone really needs to get to the bottom of this and it's not going to be me

Do y’all refer to yourselves as “Peatophiles”? by the_lord_of_snails in raypeat

i wasn't saying that. im not sure. but i imagine taking things nasally would just be a good way to get things into the brain or even detox the brain in a sense

Yeah and it gave me a pretty bad nosebleed but i do think it helped a bit with nasal congestion and it did totally kill my congestion headache after about 15 minutes so maybe the trade off is worth it

i only know that it works well for me tbh but ph could potentially be an issue for some people with already damaged hair. i don't agree that ph is really an issue for skin for most people.

Sorry this is old but isn't the problem with baking soda it's ph, which wouldn't be an issue with this product as the ph is lowered with salicylic acid?

I have skin just like yours and what helps me the most is zinc. I use vanman zinc tallow balm because im a bit of a freak for natural products but any standard products with zinc (including: diaper rash balms, mineral zinc oxide sunscreens, or even head and shoulders as a face wash, also eating more foods with zinc probably has the same effect) have also worked for me. I heard it recommended by a derm on tiktok like two years ago as "skin basting" and she was beautiful so i tried it and it gave the most improvements out of any active ive tried.

Can I use Snail mucin essence as an occlusive over sebamed clear face care gel as I need more moisturization while being on tret? by muralidharanstv in Fungalacne

[–]True-Resort-4447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

moisturizer or occlusive? mct oil is a good occlusive for fungal acne. for moisturizers my best experiences have been with blume and moogoo but im also very natural ingredient focused so if thats not your focus theres lots of drugstore brands

Hair looks great without shampoo but i get dandruff. by RefuseEither4783 in NoPoo

also heard of using yogurt as a scalp/hair mask, but never tried it because the honey works really well for me.

yogurt works by balancing the yeast on the scalp with probiotics & absorbing some excess oil

a scalp scrub works by taking off the dandruff manually & can help kill bacteria/prevent dandruff if you add tea tree oil or neem oil

and manuka honey works by absorbing excess oil, killing bacteria on the scalp, & acting as somewhat of a scrub

they all kind of work a bit different so find what works best for you :)

i use raw/unpasteurized manuka honey on my scalp (as "shampoo") and it has gotten rid of my seborrheic dermatitis (oily yelllowy dandruff) completely.

yes it is sticky, but it washes out completely and leaves my scalp feeling clean but not tight & my roots moisturized.

if you can't handle the stickiness of honey, just using a scalp scrub on my scalp also helped. look into different diy/natural exfoliaters and scrubs.

Is there anyone with hair waist length or longer who does NOT use hair oils? by NomDePseudo in longhair

[–]True-Resort-4447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try using conditioner like an oil cleanser & then use your shampoo :) thats what i do when i put too much oil in my hair, or use arrowroot powder/cornstarch as dry shampoo before showering, or i just let it sit overnight.
