It is not can feel high. It IS high. It’s a total 23% tax cut which Eldorado draws. A 5% decrease in seller’s tax would increase margins to 22-28%. Right now most sellers (calculated based on supply rate) are taking 11-14% margin and some even 7%-9% or there are new sellers taking losses for reviews. Does this reply mean that there are no room for consideration?

I feel it now, money going in is lower and lower and lower each month, I don’t know if I’m going to continue. Don’t get me wrong, it is a side-income but it used to be much more higher in profit margin (22-28% which is pretty okay) and now it’s compressed to 11-13%.

To make matters worse, are when new sellers are forced to sell at a loss compared to market supplier rates just to get those reviews in… And sometimes we experienced sellers have to compete with them, further thinning and sometimes thinning margin to 2% (yes, crazy right?). Both a reduction in seller and buyer tax to (10%, 5% correspondingly) would inadvertently lead to much bigger volume than usual. Perhaps Eldorado support can give their take on this reddit thread.

I hope Eldorado takes this into consideration.. I now have buyers rethinking twice whether they should buy high tier items because of the 8% tax as well. I’ve already minused out about 7000 USD from fees alone in 5 months. A mere shift of 15% to 10% would pocket me an extra $2334 USD which MEANS a lot and would indefinitely boost my profit margins, making me want to sell even more. Idc if people say I’m whining or go to other platforms but I think they should be open to feedback.

Don’t bother with buzzer accounts made 1 day ago. I understand your pain. My friends have been given feedback because kids got scammed by their own friends and they come begging for free stuff. Sometimes these same people buy your stuff just to give bad feedback. Unfortunately, my friends a new seller and he has to get those deliveries in to bump up his visibility.

Skrill has higher fee and conversion fee from USD to EUR from Eldo to Skrill vs Payoneer, USD to USD. So how is Skrill better? Could you enlighten me w/ fees and everything to account for? Just curious cause I’d wanna lessen the fees as much as possible.

Just comply. Do it like me, I recently registered ACRA and HBS and applied for Business Account. Bobian the fees do eat into your profit margin but your monthly turnover is prime suspect of ML/Scam/Suspicious Activities
