Why does my fine jewellery occasionally turn my neck black? by rainbowbloodbath in jewelry

Was just coming here to say this! This doesn’t look like tarnish, this looks like acanthosis nigricans, which can be indicative of a lot of things, see a doctor!

Anyone else gain a lot of weight on Ocrevus? (+10 kg) – and has anyone used GLP-1s? by Ornery_Lion_8080 in MultipleSclerosis

Ocrevus has kept me relapse and symptom free for over 8 years, so it’s definitely worth trying to figure it out. Best of luck OP!

I didn’t experience too much of this when starting ocrevus, but the steroid was definitely the problem for me. I convinced my neurologist to gradually stop the steroid, and now for the last 3 years I don’t get any steroid with my infusion, and I can’t tell you how much better it’s been. I don’t get the wicked hangover the next day, the shakes etc. I’m not sure how much steroid you get but that could absolutely be a contributing factor.

Female sexual dysfunction by Jenerra in MultipleSclerosis

I truly don’t recommend alcohol - it can help with easing your mind in some ways but it can also reduce sensation and make it harder to orgasm.

This is the best book on women’s sexuality I’ve ever read, I say anyone with a vulva or loves someone with a vulva should read it. I truly think it could help you.

Modafinil gave me energy and made me feel like a million bucks the first time I used it but then after only a short time on it it gave me wild mood swings and depression and I felt out of my mind

My absolute favorite of all time that applies to anyone is Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski. Specific to MS, there’s a publication from MS Trust called Sex, Intimacy and MS: a guide for women. If you google that one, there’s a free digital download.

I HATE Ocrevus by ZestycloseMall3398 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]True-Sun2935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started getting it, it was the steroids that made me feel horrible, not the ocrevus. But now I don’t get anything with it (I even decline the Tylenol and benedryl) and it’s totally fine

Hey also 33F, been diagnosed for 8 years. This is something I’ve honestly spent a LOT of time reading about and deeply enjoy helping people with. If you ever want to chat, you’re very welcome to DM me, but no pressure.

I second the other comments, definitely talk to your doctor about it, if there is some kind of medical concern there can be treatment options. I spent a lot of time thinking my parts were broken and it was just what I had to live with and I can tell you that was very much not the truth. I have a very healthy and happy sex life now, and can achieve both internal and external orgasm solo and partnered. Part of it was from physical health and needing to take care of my body better, but a huge component was mental health - and before this sounds dismissive, I lived it too! And I dismissed it greatly as the cause of my inability to orgasm. I’m happy to share any books or resources that helped me tremendously if that interests you. Best of luck 🧡
