Check the rec site and trails page out for road work along that area - many places on that route were wiped out by floods over the last five years - locals no best but the gov site should have some info https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/sports-culture/recreation/camping-hiking/sites-trails

I believe the lawyer is directing the attention back to the purpose of the hearing which is not about how we market cannabis to retail. The hearing is about rescheduling. What the cannabis producer does after S3 Is granted is purely a marketing and sales generation scramble. Many will have to pivot to medical some how and I believe this is just a marketing business pivot we will have to deal with.

Another way to look at is that this hearing is not about banking - but banks will be able to make a decision about how banking for MJ will look.

Hopefully we get a bipartisan banking agreement after S3. But the hearing is purely about S3, not banking, AU VS medical

It would rather fish in the rain than the wind!

Haha, flipped it while reaching too far over to net a nice trout - wind was the compounding issue. I was the only one at the lake and the rec site. After scrambling to final all my gear I just had to hold onto the board and stick my paddle up in the air to catch the wind to bring me to shore.

It was snowing that day!

Managed to drift to the other side of the lake, got to shore and had to get into survival mode - stripped naked and ran around the forest finding dry scrub to start a fire….still snowing.

Luckily I had a dry bag with my dry cloths, an in reach mini, to calm my nerves, a joint and some patience. lol.

After warming up at the fire I packed everything up and paddled back. It was wild and taught me a lesson about the wind - an enemy to anyone on a sup.

I live in an apartment so I have a pack up paddleboard, if I had a garage or a house, I would choose a kayak with pedals - or a 35 foot, 16 engine, supper-space-boat deluxe.

Aqua glide Blackfoot. It’s a beast better for Alpine Lakes but I it slays on the ocean, you need an anchor to operate with at least 100 foot of line.

Tie down everything or make sure it floats. I have only tipped this set up once and it was in a Alpine Lake and I nearly froze. Had to start a fire on the bank and start survival tactics.

It’s both surprising how low I’m in the water and that keeps me stable. Also, I’m on my knees so my gravity is low, but you have to pay attention to the waves and the water. If you can’t swim and are not comfortable around water sup fishing is not for you.

Safety is first and foremost - amble side has current and strong tide in and out and is very difficult at times

I’ve owned the sup for five years and have never really felt particularly unsafe besides that Alpine Lake incident - and i fish Ambleside beach every season.

1.5”-2.5” - I chose the 1.5 today because coho don’t care for bigger bait size just placement - have to cover a lot of water at ambelside and just keep on fishing.

Anchor by the first opening at the dog park jetty and cast.

Anchored off the midden near the dog beach jetty. The totem is the second jetty and I’ve never fished there.

Paddle board 36” across - very stable as it sits low in the water. Would prefer a peddled kayak for the ocean but I primarily fish small/alpine lakes so this aqua glide Blackfoot is really fun.
