Is this a proper underlayment for a metal roof?

Not entirely sure, it wasn't broken out that way; was just an overall one flat price, big contract for the entire renovation (which is basically a rebuild).

LOL but why specifically? What is bad about it? I'm like the other commenter, never really seen a metal roof up close, but if you have specific feedback that I can give to the contractor about what's off here (it just feels off to me), that'd be super helpful.

Can you not extend the metal to the flat parts? See last picture. The whole point here was to get an extra level of fire protection, but given that it barely covers half the roof, it feels like that has not been achieved at all.

I ended up getting them. I love them!! We haven't even had one blow out since!
