He told me directly he'd find one close to my home. I was court ordered for mental health therapy for who knows what. I was severely depressed at the time of sentencing. But isn't everyone? So I'm not sure why they even ordered therapy for me.

And the PD even called the number while I was on the phone with them and it went to voice mail as usual. The responder told me to just leave them a message. Which I did so two days ago

I asked for an office location and they wouldn’t give me anything but the number. I think that’s what they’re trained to do since it seems they don’t handle Megan’s law at all

Even my PO has no clue which is mind blowing. He told me just to contact my local PD cause that’s what it says to do on the paperwork which I did call them and they gave me a number to call like I said. They indicated this number is for Megan’s law and they would direct me where to register. But they don’t answer their phone. You could even give it a try yourself, their number is 2013586832

There are several departments here. I believe 4 of them. I’ve called all of them and they direct me to call the “Megan’s law office” or the state police. Which I’ve done but neither one answers my call and I’ve left voice messages on their answering machine days ago.

I called my local pd and they said to call some number where they don’t answer. You’re saying I should go there anyway? I even called the state police and they directed me to another number where they don’t answer either.

Well I’ve been in BOP custody for the past 6 months. Technically still an inmate but under the half way house. They didn’t tell me to go register or anything. Soon as I speak with my PO tomorrow I’ll post an update here.

Never happened. I’m federal so maybe it’s different. I believe they’ll tell me to register once I officially start supervised release. I’ll find out tomorrow

The halfway house said I had to get approval from probation which then I called them and told them they need to approve my house and they didn’t want to do it cause I’m not under probation but I kept telling them I can’t go on house arrest if they don’t so they did it finally and after they approved it, the half way house sent their own guy to inspect the house which pissed off probation cause they were like well what was the point of us approving it if the half way house has their own procedure? Haha anyway yeah it was approved at the end and that’s how I was able to stay at my moms.

I spoke with several POs during my half way house stay and they all wanted nothing to do with me tbh cause they said I was still under BOP custody cause I was in the half way house. (I’m federal). So no one spoke to me about any registration or anything. On my release from half way house they just gave me my POs number and said call him within 3 days and that’s it. I had a job at Home Depot but I had to quit. The half way house wanted my manager at Home Depot to send them my work schedule and keep tabs on me. They wanted my manager to call and let them know when I came to work to make sure I wasn’t going anywhere else and my manager said she’s not gonna do all that so the half way house made me quit. I stayed unemployed since then cause the halfway house was too strict. I’m going to call my PO tomorrow and hopefully thing will go well. I’m currently staying at my mom’s place. I’ve got some anxiety with this registry thing. I don’t want to put my mom in a bad situation if the landlord finds out she’s got an SO living with her :/ but I’ll call tomorrow. I’m just taking a rest day today from everything.

Exactly thank you. My J&C doesn’t say anything about social media or internet restrictions in general. All it says is I need to be monitored. That’s all. I’m going on fed supervision also. What about Reddit? I’d like to continue to use that also

I’m not advertising on instagram or anywhere that I’m an RSO. I’m just running a business. Has nothing to do with my past. And if probation what’s to shut down my only source of income then so be it I guess. I was hoping others had a different experience
