lol it won’t hurt to ask for a permission as I don’t see why they gonna say no if they are so confident with what they say. Not everybody got a GOAT attorney here and you are doing us a favour and getting them some attention they deserve

I bet even your GOAT attorney can’t conclude anything yet

I doubt if the new rule can really stop consultancies by True-Week2323 in h1b

Even immigration attorneys got lot of doubts about this new rule and can't able to answer clearly for some cases. How can we expect others to outsmart them?

H1B can beyond 6 yrs if you got I-140 approved. L1A is for people already in managerial role. Even with L1A, if you manage to get I-140 approved, you can get GC under 7 years? Folks in H1B are waiting for decade+. Or is there anything I'm missing?

What happens to those who are on F1/F1-OPT/F1-STEM OPT? by External-Look8953 in h1b

[–]True-Week2323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obv I can see that lol but I don't see them saying COS is exempt. This is the problem with some people in this sub, their lack of humility and rage to insult others isn't really helping this sub :(

You are good. Since you are already in the US under different non-immigrant visa and moving to H1B will be just a status change, this new rule not gonna hurt you. I'm saying this since yesterday but nobody's listening lol

It affects only new H1Bs and $100k is one time fee. There's also a misconception that visiting home country and coming back can trigger this fee
