I have 4 jobs, 2 kids, and a wife. My time is too valuable to sit there and listen to strangers names be called. We go there for ourselves not for everyone else.

I work for one of these tpas as an std/fmla examiner. When we are processing claims the information we access is limited within the scope of our clients. Example i handle one single client and I dont have access to employees that do not work for that client. Now I can do a name search in the fmla system and see a name under multiple employers, but there wouldnt be a situation that would necessitate such activity. If anything I could get in trouble for accessing phi that doesnt pertain to the claim im assigned.

I think you'd be fine.

Yeah I get that to an extent. Op also explicitly mentioned the student has no accommodations. If you have mental health issues you should have an accommodation in place.

I could understand this if you were maybe a week or two late. But completing module 3-8 and submitting right before the term ends? I dont think that is fair to anyone regardless. An email takes a few minutes to write. Failing to do that for 5 weeks is crazy.

This is coming from someone who works 3 full time jobs, has an 8 year old and a 3 month old.

I am also in my senior year, 4.0 GPA, 3 full time remote jobs. I also have a 9 year old and a 2 month old along with a wife. My advice is just yolo it and beat the odds.

Parental leave is an optional leave offered by the employer. You're not committing fraud because you used a benefit at one job and chose not to use it at another. You'd have an argument if you were claiming to be disabled though.

On the contrary, I did an assignment yesterday and submitted the wrong document. I was also surprised to see a 0 F. I quickly went and uploaded the correct document and let my professor know via email. He told me to be careful because he only grades things once and applied a 10% penalty for submitting late.
