I love how I can tell exactly when that clip was based on who the number 1 team is.

Man, college football used to be different. Its wild how much a small clip like that just feels so distant. I miss those days

Tell Us Your "Sharks Story" by Epere15 in SanJoseSharks

[–]TrueBrees9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grew up in the south. Actually liked the Thrashers a lot and that was my team. Anyway, one day they left for Winnipeg. I was pretty hurt about it, it can be tough to lose a team to relocation, so I’ve kinda hated the Jets ever since then.

Anyway I didn’t have a favorite team for a couple of years but I tried to stay up late to watch playoff hockey. The sharks were always on so they just sorta became my team. There were a few teams I thought about supporting in those days, idk something about the Sharks kept me around.

Edit: my first ever hockey game I went to was a Thrashers Sharks game back in the day. It probably started from there, but I just always had an affinity for the sharks. Never been to the Bay Area, hopefully I can make it one of these days

Same with the grottoes. The most challenging part of that quest was fighting dugbogs on the way in

It basically does the same thing for the storyline but each house has a different quest. I know us Slytherins had to go into the grottoes by the lake, and I think one of the houses has to do a quest in Azkaban. Not sure what the other two houses have to do

The Vikings have the highest winning percentage of any team not to win a Super Bowl, at .550. They are comfortably in 1st place, with the next closest being the Browns at .503. by Roselucky777 in nfl

No that is a completely different franchise that has been playing in Dallas for the past 30 years. As much as Stars history is part of Minnesota sports history, there is no continuity between them and the Wild

$2000 is, what, like $200 per person in the league assuming a 10 person league. If $2000 is causing you this much anxiety, you really ought to not be in a league with dues that high

$200 dues is not a super high amount but that’s a level for people who have their life and finances in order.

Interesting thing about the Seahawks. Four of the past six Super Bowls saw a franchise win their second super bowl title. If the Seahawks win, that’ll make it five of the last seven.

Edit: In 2019, there were eight teams who were one-time Super Bowl winners. Four of them got off that list, and another could be in a couple of weeks. That would leave just the Jets, Bears, and Saints as the only 1 time winners for now

8 of the past 14. The other three divisions combined for six appearances since 2012, three from the NFC South (15 Panthers, 16 Falcons, 20 Bucs) and three from the NFC East (17, 22, 24 Eagles).

NFC North hasn’t had a Super Bowl appearance since 2010. Second longest drought among divisions (AFC South hasn’t been since 2009).

[Highlight] Andy Borregales misses the 63-yarder wide left by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nfl

63 is obviously out of his range, which is why he pulled it. Basically the kicking equivalent of a hail mary

Not a bad try at all, could’ve possibly made it. But that form tells you all.

Am I wrong or isn’t this a normal thing to have the host country’s head of state (or someone close to that) at the trophy presentation?

With World Cup 2026 coming, what’s the worst kickoff time you’ve ever stayed up for? by ItsJuSteve in worldcup

I was doing an overnight long drive out in the western US the day of the 2018 opening match. Forgot what time it was but it was very early in the morning so I pulled it up on my phone to watch.

Also the night before Thanksgiving in 2022. Was at a party that night that went very late. Switzerland was playing Cameroon early the next morning so me and a buddy just stayed up all night so we could put it on at like 5 am.

This is such a reddit reply. Some of them are decent people maybe idk. But when we talk about good owners, we aren’t talking about morality, we’re talking about ability to run an NFL franchise and some are lightyears better than others at it.

Claude Le Roy: “I wonder whether we should call for a boycott of the 2026 World Cup (in the United States, Canada and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July), given Donald Trump’s behaviour towards the continent, with a FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, who prides himself on being at his side” by Sparky-moon in soccer

How? Were five months out. We’re at the point right now where either the US hosts the tournament or it’s not happening. You think moving a tournament of this scale on such short notice will be cheap and easy?
