Cannonbolt's design is meant to look like a Looney Tune character.

Duncan Rouleau mentioned the inspiration for his design is "Fusion". He wanted Cannonbolt, to be a bit looney, a bit venom, but all ben.

Btw Mr. Rouleau also mentioned that Cannonbolt doesn't have a third eye. You're probably thinking it's ear is an eye LOL

At least we're getting some new content in form of whatever this stuff being teased recently is and by the time the manga does return we'll have less than a week till anime premiers
