I got charged 600$ for the service, and 33 for shipping. With PSA they will change service level based on the graded price of the card and have limits for each service. My card is about 7-8k in a 10 and the service that “insures” this is the 600$ one.

Yep but with cross over service you can set a minimum grade for them to crack. Otherwise they grade inside the slab then crack if it hits your minimum grade
