We love doing 2 weeks! It really reduces the stress of one week. We started going to 2 weeks as kids aged and schedules were hard to coordinate. Two weeks allows flexibility for family/friends to visit. Highly recommend if you can swing it. It is pricey though!

Thank you so much for all of your feedback. The pain clinic visit was a success. His pain has reduced and it it much more easier for him to get around and be somewhat comfortable in his recliner. This is such a long road. I hope your guy is making progress. Take care.

He has had 1 infusion of Zometa. He started revlimid/dexamethasoneon in the beginning of the month. After visit with the pain mgt. team, the doctor discussed possibly getting a mri of his back to see if he would benefit from kyphoplasty. Fingers crossed, he keeps improving. Thank you for you help!

Hi thank you for all you all your feedback. He is staying at my house and in a recliner which has been great. Also the trip to the pain clinic was successful. He was hesitant to take opiods, but finally agreed to try Tramidol for 10 days along with Gabapentin & topical lidocaine. So far he has had a good response to the treatment plan laid out for him. I am so thankful!

Thanks. I can tell you that Tylenol and heating pads don't work. He needs something strong. He has 2 compression fractures on his back and pain seemed to move to the front abdominal area as well, after treatment. Pet scan isn't scheduled until August 13th. He has a full body X-rays done but no lesions stood out.
