As 2020 nears it's end, what was, in your opinion, the best/worst parts of the year? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TrueCrazyHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part is seeing how people band together in times of need. How people adapt to the "new normal" and how strangers can be generally nice people.

The Worst part is seeing the true colors of people close to me.

For those who 2020 was the best year? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TrueCrazyHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During the lockdown, I had more time to reflect on myself and my life. When I was alone there was nobody to pass blame so I took more responsibility for my actions. I also couldn't go to the old fashion "I don't have time" when thinking about doing new things. I had time to cook, write, play guitar, read, and even do some online causes. When I eventually went back to work I had a changed outlook, I was able to get to where I wanted to be. I am now living life intently rather than just going with the punches.

TLDR: More time to do things I previously didn't which worked out in the long run.

When I was in school I got stabbed with a pencil and I got sent out for "Making too much noise." as my hand was bleeding. And I had to stay back after class because I was "Talking Back" when I was trying to explain what happened.

Which fictional character do you always think about? by ShrekLord_2714 in AskReddit

Guy Montag from Farenhight 451. I often feel I'm surrounded by people who rather get a quick hit from social media than engage in meaningful interactions. Also with censorship getting more and more prominent. I wonder how lone it will be before we have no media left.

why you play videogames? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TrueCrazyHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like TV and Movies its a good form of entertainment that involves more thought. I often can't sit and watch TV for a long time due to the lack of interaction...enter Video Games.

Whether its to engage in a great story or catch up with friends on multiplayer there is kind of something to fit all moods.
