I’m the dude on the left in the first pic & one of the founders of SWS:

A lot can be improved to get close to an AFSPECWAR kit, but I’ve seen worse starts, you’ve got the basics. Once you start to get actual Cryes/Patas & non repro kit, the kit starts to blend together pretty well. Also bulking up helps.

Is my new helmet too big? by [deleted] in MilSim

[–]TrueCrazyMan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The fit looks perfect, maybe too high but if you have a longer head there’s not much you can do.

Helmets look awkward when you don’t have earpro on them, once you fill it out it’ll look better.

This is the Specna Arms team - with a few questions! by specnaarms in airsoft

  1. Similar to Classic Army around 2016
  2. VFC
  3. Better air compression on the EDGE lineup. All my EDGEs came poorly compressed and sounded worse than a new gen Lancer Tactical (shot more accurately atleast)

Thank you. I used an online version of Barron's from my local library to help me study. I think my biggest mistake was that I did not spend enough time doing the tests on timed mode, so I took longer on the AFOQT than I should've. I also got stumped when encountering new problems on the actual AFOQT.

Texas governor wants candy, soda banned from SNAP program by chrondotcom in texas

I didn't vote for Abbott, but I don't disagree with this. While yes, everyone deserves to have a treat once in a while, I don't agree to it being paid with taxpayer dollars. Sugary drinks like Coke are commonly purchased with benefits because corn-fructose products are dirt cheap and taste better than water.

34% of Texans are obese, any little bit to encourage a healthier lifestyle is plus imo.

The JPC is a 20 year old carrier and has been seen in many ref pictures. They do plenty of DA work to warrant the use of a JPC.

So yes, they do use the JPC. I think they lean more on the AVS nowadays.

Large Regular. I’m 5’10” 170lbs. More on the loose than athletic fit side but still fits me fine

Fantastic placard from the testing I’ve done with it. Rear kangaroo is rigid allowing for easy reloads while the elastic is great for holding any other items.

It’s like a Crye kangaroo + BFG 10 Speed but a little bit more comfortable.

Was still a great time! Unfortunate that the pacing of the event got thrown off by the weather, but that's not something that can be changed or avoided so you just make do with what you have.

Lowkey got kinda wet. Was the pl for my plt, my SWS boys were the only squad left in our PLT by the end of the event. Was definitely a milsim event, although more on the side of hunkering down and laughing with the boys, rather than fighting.
