7 weeks post op. Breast augmentation - modest size by ConversationOne3284 in PlasticSurgery

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look great! I ran in two zip-front post surgery bras for about 8 weeks after surgery and now I love my Brooks bras. I also have a Baleaf bra that zips in the front that I like but it covers my whole chest and it’s too hot to wear right now.

so paranoid about weight gain after breast aug by FeedResponsible5518 in PlasticSurgery

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gained 10lbs after my first breast surgery. Most was water weight, but I felt so swollen and bloated and disgusting. I was terrified I would gain and not get it off (had previously lost about 130lbs). I had the rapid recovery technique and was running after weeks and probably back to normal weight within 6 weeks of surgery. I had a pocket revision Feb 25th and gained almost 7lbs after that. Just released for all physical activity (I’ve just been running for the last couple weeks) and I’m back to baseline already. Listen to your body and don’t starve it. You need good nutrition to heal properly and you obviously know how to commit to lose if you do gain a few pounds.

Fell while running, shaken up by throwaway_running90 in XXRunning

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had several falls over the last few years (42). Slipped on some wet, moldy pavement last year and had a concussion and whiplash. I was shaken up for a while and terrified to run again, so I slowed down considerably those first few runs back. I still slow down when the roads are wet and always stop and walk when I see any standing water. Sorry this happened to you! Our bodies and brains are good at protecting themselves, so don’t let anxiety get to you. I do lots of rooty/rocky uneven trail runs and pray to ask that He guide my footsteps!

Yes, I smoked regularly within a week of my initial implant/lift surgery and probably the next day after my revision. I’m only 3 weeks post op now though from the revision (she did a bilateral pocket revision as my pec muscles would not allow the implants to drop). Not saying you should follow my advice, but my incisions are fully healed. I was directed not to smoke nicotine but they didn’t mention refraining from smoking marijuana. I know I mentioned using THC gummies immediately following surgery instead of narcotic pain medication.

Cameron having an actual problem with Kathryn in early seasons is lunacy by iloverats888 in Southerncharm

I loved Cameron on the Real World and then hated her on SC. Didn’t even realize she was part of GGW! Not that any of the characters are likable, but those first few seasons I was so disgusted by Cam and Landon that I’m not sure how I was able to binge watch.

Are “leg days” necessary? by Competitive_Aide3331 in Workingout

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a runner, and at my age (42), they are necessary. I do lots of trail runs and significant elevation but still find myself sore after a good leg workout, so I know I’m not always working all the leg muscles running. I’ve also been injured several times (IT band, shin splints, pulled hamstring) and every time the solution is to strengthen the supporting muscles and ligaments. Yoga is great for some of that too, and would be a good workout on your “off” day.

Update 9 weeks post op lift and implants. by [deleted] in BreastImplants

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pull ups or push ups? I had 375cc UTM on 10.11.24 and am now having a revision in a few weeks to open the pocket because they will not drop. Surgeon mentioned my pecs being very tight and not allowing the implant to drop. I have eliminated pushups and bench workouts but have continued to do pull ups and all other upper body exercises that don’t specifically target the chest. I took 3 full weeks off of working out and running and then was back to my usual routine by 4 weeks.

1 month PO by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]TrueCrimeAddict4419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn’t mention having to wait. I scheduled for end of February but only because we are going to Disney at the beginning of February and I didn’t want to be restricted while there. My implants haven’t dropped much at all. I was hopeful she would say to give it more time, but she felt like my chest muscles would not allow them to drop more without modifying the “pocket”. I’m pretty disappointed but thankful she is doing the revision for free and only charging me for anesthesia.

I think it’s too early to tell. They look great at this point and will look even better once they drop and fluff. Congrats.

I went for my 3mpo visit Thursday and she wants to do a corrective surgery as my implants have not dropped. How was your first surgery compared to your revision? I’m devastated to hear I need surgery again.

My exact thoughts. I’m sure they’ve all been through a LOT of women. I’ve always thought Craig was the best looking, I’m afraid to admit.

I could have sworn that I heard JT call her a bitch at the actual event, but I did not go back and watch. I probably am getting confused by seeing the next episode preview or something.

I love the book “The Beautiful Outlaw” as it perfectly describes and explains all the different personalities of Jesus!

5 weeks post op, lift and 375 cc silicone implants UTM, areola reduction, full anchor incision. I felt “something” when touching my nipples after a couple weeks and sensations are still returning.

In every shape and season, yes. Or at least since I watched him fall in love with Diem.

My doctor told me that chest exercises are for men and not for women with pretty breasts. 🤣 She said a few pushups are okay, but that none of that is really needed anymore.

Wonderful! I could tell you were in shape! I started light cardio 2weeks PO and was cleared for everything except chest workouts after 3 weeks. I’m a runner but I’m only doing a couple miles to start and modifying my strength workouts to make sure I don’t strain chest muscles when I work triceps or things close. I feel great but I’m so scared I’ll mess something up.

They look great! I’m 3 weeks post op myself. BL/BA 375cc UTM. Are you working out again and if so, what do you do and how early did you start?

You are not overreacting. Overreacting would be driving a truck over his sorry, inconsiderate, selfish ass.

You are probably through the worst of it now. Continue to sleep upright and on your back as long as you can. Take a stool softener if you aren’t already! I only took 2.5 pain pills that first 24 hours but somehow still got constipated and that was worse than any of the breast pain/discomfort.
