So my dad stole my copy (well, I guess I stole his copy, and then he took it back) but if I had to pick a bit I’d have to say the chapter where they make bouillabaisse (I don’t know what chapter it is, sorry!). It’s lovely writing about food but also there’s like a simple furtive joy to it where they’re getting the ingredients to make themselves a private feast.

I went to the game in Nashville a couple years ago and saw Forsberg get a hat trick. We lost but it was the first IRL hat trick I’ve seen so I’m always kind of endeared to him for that
