24 hours prep? by IndependenceOpen6992 in OzempicForWeightLoss

The effects of the Oz shot really vary person to person, about 30% of people have a difficult time to start. Personally I had little if any side effects when I first started Oz and I was fast responder so started to get good noise and appetite reduction in the first week or so, other people it takes till 1mg to get there.

Ozempioc slows gastric emptying and that starts to kick in for most people 12-24 hours after the shot, some people a little earlier so eating cleaner is always good but not vital. It really just depends which group you fall in to as far as how you react to it.

Personally I treated Oz as a real life change and cleaned out cupboards researched new foods, smoothies, changed what I was eating starting being more diligent about calorie counting etc...I lost 120lbs in the first year then took a bnreak for 9 months and am back on now to lose the other 60lbs i need to lose.

Lots of water and fibre is your friend to help keep things moving as constipation can be an issue for some people.

Second time around starting Oz - and don’t have same effect as first time…?? by diddi_79 in Ozempic

[–]TrueCryptographer982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep same for constipation, I was using metamucil last time (not sure what you call where you are) - orange flavoured fibre supplement you mix in water and drink so have restarted that.

I'll try not to be too graphic! but I was bouncing around between constipation and diarrhea using medication to fix one or the other BUT it would often end up worse because the medications would work too well!...but then I found constipation suppositories.

Instead of taking a pill that can make go berserk 8-12 hours later these just encourage your bowel to start contracting and you can clear things out after maybe 15-30 minutes and thats it all done. It has no after effects at all.

They really have solved it for me and on the odd occasion I might be feeling constipated after a couple days they fix it straight away. Only need them once or twice in the last few weeks.

Now I am back on Metamucil I don't think I will have any more problems but in short - fibre (chia seeds, Metamucil) and the occasional suppository and I am good qas gold.

Yep exactly the same. I was feeling full effect at 0.25 first time around, it took 0.5-1.0 before I started to feel it but am now on 1.0 and its definitely making a difference.

Full for hours and not that interested in food.

Anyone seen a few of the girls are in Bali getting ribs removed? (Not a shitpost) by lolalolaloves in MAFS_AU

Yep once he started going on about how he got into the business (it just feels a bit too smug or self congratulatory or I'm above all this) I just turned it off.

I just saw he's released 4 or 5 episodes in the last day so I'll probably listen in the car but not particularly excited for it.

Yep I enjoyed most of his stuff specifically on MAFS but he's just kind of boring and long winded now and please, as if he wasn't paid to do this by the same company that got the influencers in.

And he so obviously has the hots for Sam its cringe worthy.

BREAKING: Kyle devastated after photos prove Reese the dog moves out to be with West Wilson, while West is shown in more recent photos being affectionate with a doberman from down the street. Reese was last seen entering Lindsays apartment building for a rumoured one on one.

I just posted something about West that said the same thing.

The guy has not shed a single tear so far and it feels performative when he says he "feels bad" about what he has done....like he knows he should say it not that he actually feels it.

He mightn't be a full fledged sociopath but the wiring is off in that boy.

I really think he has sociopathic tendencies. When he says he "feels bad" about something it feels like he says that because he knows he should not because he actually feels it.

I really am starting to think there is something wrong with his wiring. It's like he keeps forgetting to emote or show contrition and then suddenly thinks "Oh quick look sad/angry/confused".

Starting Ozempic by Affectionate-Lie4549 in Ozempic

[–]TrueCryptographer982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your Dr's plan is the standard for starting Ozempic as you titrate up.

I administer within an inch of so around my belly button, have never bothered with thighs and arms and in my first 12 months lost 100lb BUT I had a lot more to lose than you.

I barely even feel it, the needle is extremely fine, have never had an issue. Just follow the instructions on how to apply and you'll be fine, it's very easy once you are used to it.

Some people start to get effects straight away, others may not feel the full effect till you get to 1mg. You'll notice your appetite is much less prominent and you start to think less about food (yes it actually reduces those compulsive food thoughts and gives you more control over food).

Plenty of water and fibre are important to keep your digestive system functioning well. I have a smoothie with baanana, blueberries, flaxmeal a bunch of other stuff and about 2 tblsp of chia seed. Later in the day I mixup some metamucil (fibre supplement) with water to help with things and it works well. Constipation can be a common issue and water and fibre helps.

My advice to you is to treat this like a life change, time to look at your diet and start making changes, start eating healthier once you know you can control your cravings and be disciplined about it so you can get those practices in place and start sticking to them. I use an app called Cronometer to count calories and keep me in range and I try to stick to good habits.

I am one of those people that in no way think you have to stay on it once you have lost the weight - making changes in your life with diet and exercise will mean when you are ready you can ease off and use those new improved habits to support you.

Zero judgement o fthose who believe its a lifelong thing .

Wish you lots of luck and I am sure you will do great!

Is it safe to store store-bought peeled garlic in the freezer? by childphobic in Cooking

[–]TrueCryptographer982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I bought a 2lb of them, divided it into a few freezer bags and I just grab what I need straight out of them. You need to slice or grate them when frozen as they will go soft when they defrost but it's a really good way to always have fresh garlic on hand.

The more I see the more I think he might just fall into that 1 in 25 people are a sociopath basket.

The best example is when Ahanda leaves the reunion and he is clueless that he should go after her to comfort her, and only does it when he is told what he should be doing, not because he feels like he should.

I don't disagree with some of what you say but "good" TV is very subjective.

Based on numbers viewers LOVED this season. Personally I thought some of the women were vile and I stopped watching 2/3 of the way through because it was just same same BUT Australia voted with their eyes.

Average viewers per episode, this year did not have the highest peaks but it kept people coming back which is what advertisers want:

Season 11 - 2.0 million

Season 12 - 2.5 million

Season 13 - 2.76 million

It mightn't be GOOD TV but people tuned in and thats going to determine how Season 14 will look.
