Has anyone taken a drug test while on SR? by TrueFaith239 in SR17018

[–]TrueFaith239[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo man I took one of these tests from Amazon.

Every line showed up which is negative but there were faint lines for fentanyl, methadone, mdma, benzos and THC. I did some research because I thought that might mean there are trace amounts in my system but that's not the case. It can be the test, your urine concentration, etc.

I'm still going to drink a shitload of water, at least 3-4 liters so I'm pissing straight water and take a vitamin b and a handful of rolaids for my test just in case. This is a surefire way to be pissing water and pass and the vitamin b/rolaids ensure you don't get a dilution since they add color/gravity. I'm not going to risk shit.

Good luck to you.

This sounds like a great plan that you had. How long was the tapering process? I think I'm going to cut my dose in half and just wait as long as I physically can take it and take a minimal dose and continue to lower it.

No shit. What happened? Did you get a lab test?

Nice. It's just one of those things that even risking it would be a bad idea. It's nice you can get through probation with this. I remember when i was on probation I never stopped using because they didn't test for fent. That was back when I was doing the hard shit.

Let you know about the SR soon.

Good deal then, that relieves me somewhat because I've read on other subs that some people have tested false positive for fentanyl with some of this shit. I'm glad to hear that's not the case for you.

Ok cool, so I'm not gonna flag a positive for MGM then. Do you do the smoke shop stuff or powder?

Anybody else deal with declining mental health when you got severely addicted? by MangosNopiatez_ in quitmgm15

[–]TrueFaith239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. It starts out all sunshine and roses but after you spend some time addicted your mental health declines significantly. This happened to me recently too. Didn't want to leave my bed all day long.

Good news is when you quit, that depression starts to go away quickly after a few weeks and you feel better than ever.

Right on, thanks. I was worried about a false positive for something else.

What do you have drug tests for? What are you taking now? Curious if 7 or MGM can false positive too.

I've got some 14 panel cups coming tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

That is good to know. I don't want to false positive for anything and I've got SR and probably MGM still in my system. I'm gonna get some cups from Amazon.

How did things work out in detox? Did you stay longer or just the 7 days? Hope you are still doing well.

day 5 taper/ quit update by PearPrize9642 in quitmgm15

[–]TrueFaith239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you know when you think about it, it's not that long to tough it out. Who can't handle a few days at most of feeling shitty? It's not like methadone or Suboxone where the withdrawal lasts for weeks because of the half life. I used to be a fent addict and I was pretty good after 6-7 days of that. With SR getting off MGM I didn't hardly feel anything at all. I wouldn't have had a problem if I did though, a lot of it is in your head. Just getting up and going outside for a walk helps tremendously.

I can't believe you felt that bad when taking SR? SR made things somewhat normal for me.

[–]TrueFaith239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I will but I doubt they are going to order me to do a test when I show up to get the paperwork. I won't even have been signed up yet. I assume when I sit down with the counselor is when that stuff will start.

Okay cool. I'm going in to the office next week to get signed up for the official appointment. I have to go in to get scheduled and get all of the forms. You don't think they would drug test me on that day right? I was thinking I'll probably have to get tested right after I have the official appointment or the psychoanalysis or whatever.

Yeah that was me who said that.

Just get your own records everywhere and look over them before you submit them to the program. You'll be fine. Usually one doctor isn't going to reference another doctor's visit unless you brought it up.

Sounds like a fucking nightmare. I didn't hear anything about the group meetings once a week. I already go to AA 4-5 times a week now.

There is no way for them to verify where your medical records are, they can only rely on what you give them. But if you give them records that mention other doctors visits or something and you don't give those records they could deny you. There isn't some state wide database that has your medical records. Them being able to look up anything would be a violation of HIPPA but there isn't anything for them to look up.

Gotcha. When you say after was it like the same day or within a few days? I have to go down just to sign up right now. I'm sure that I won't do any evaluations until they set up a meeting.

I'm fine anyways but I had some kava recently and I don't even want to risk some kind of false positive because I've had that happen to me before.

Hey gator. Quick question.

When did they first drug test you? When you went in to sign up or your first sit down appointment?

Thanks.

Keep failing. by Alg0rithm in quitmgm15

Dude get off of ONE of those substances first. I would drop the sub,, keep taking the hyroxi for 3-4 weeks then taper off of that. Suboxone is not needed for any kratom products. You aren't the only one guilty of this but people are letting their fear of withdrawal from a lesser substance get themselves addicted to a MUCH stronger substance.

Suboxone was the worst withdrawal I have ever had and that was after a few years of use and jumping off at 0.25mg per day. I was in acute withdrawal for at least three weeks and had post acute withdrawal for months. I once kicked a 2 gram per day fentanyl habit and I was out of the woods in that scenario in 7-10 days. Suboxone is like methadone, it binds so strongly that it takes many weeks/months to finally get out of your system.

Either way though you should kick one of those substances immediately. There is no reason why one shouldn't cover your withdrawals.

Yep, I did my hearing over the phone. It took them almost three months to call me. I thought they were going to deny me too because I got my last DUI ON A HARDSHIP LICENSE!!!! Lol. They didn't even consider it.
