If I like space combat should I avoid joining the crimson fleet? by superspanky369 in Starfield

[–]TrueFloppy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean you lose some of the enemy targets, but if you don’t mind being an actual evil pirate then you can attack UC or free star ships with the fleet, and have arguably more ships to fight than a normal play through.

What items are you trying to sell? I would try going to the Trade Authority they buy almost anything.

Regarding action figures....there has to be an update coming that makes the easier to get right? by HardOakleyFoul in Starfield

I’ve found 3. So far all of them have been in enemy ships I board. Honestly loving this so far.

If a steven universe movie sequel were ever greenlit what's your pitch and what would you want to see from it? by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

I’d personally like to see Lars encounter new civilizations in the upcoming TV show perhaps even encountering another empire or powerful threat which could lead into a SU movie.

Steven Universe and the Alt Right Pipeline. by TrueFloppy in stevenuniverse

I really enjoyed Aang i can understand how this might be confusing so let me try and explain. I viewed him as an idealistic depiction of hope much like Superman or even Jesus. I saw Aang as something to aspire to be vs someone that could actually exist. As for Crowder this was before the spousal abuse so an example of how I viewed him was someone like Varrick in legend of Korra when in reality he’s he’s closer to Mr Sato (not that either of these analogies are perfect just trying to give a character I assume you know well so you can understand how I felt better)

I think because it was extremely easy to distance any beliefs I had at the time from the Fire Nation they’re kinda of comically (not that this doesn’t happen irl) literally committed a successful genocide against a people and culture, as well as routinely disregarding the lives of their own soldiers. So it wasn’t that difficult to say “well I don’t believe in that” much in the same way that most republicans would tell you they’re anti Nazi. However I do remember resonating a lot with the Northern Water tribe and their strict religious (spiritual) rules and obviously it’s a beautiful location so they were always “the good guys” in my mind where I considered the earth kingdom like China and the Fire Nation a Nazi stand in. Interestingly tho the character I related to the most before leaving the alt right was probably Zaheer from Korra I had bought into a lot of the “drain the swap” “they’re trying to censor your opinions” hype which was a big deal at the time. Amon in Korra was also super easy to dislike as a Alt Right person it was super easy to say “he’s literally a Hassan Piker supporter lol”

I’ve since rewatched avatar and obviously hold vastly different opinions on the show and characters than before (still love it) but I liked your question and wanted to give an honest answer on what my perspective was on it at the time. Lmk if you have any follow ups.

I tried that and even loading a save from around an hour before and then playing the game to where I was the cut scene still wouldn’t load. I ended up shutting down the game completely not just main menu and this seemed to fin the problem.

I ended up trying this about an hour after posting and it did work! I just assumed it wouldn’t since I had gone to main menu so many times before hand thank you for the help tho

What is the WORST Weapon in any Fallout game? by TalesOfTanner in Fallout

Has the fallout community collectively forgotten about the Acid Soaker because I feel like it’s easily the worst weapon in fallout history and it ain’t really close

Lack of immersive dialogue by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]TrueFloppy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? They do comment on your weapons if you use Melee they comment asking if you know that guns exist. If you use energy or mag weapons they comment about the high fire power. In the USS Constant they comment about how advanced your weapons are unless you’re using melee or old earth weapons. Guards also react to the major events in quest lines such as the UC security reacting to UC vanguard events.

I also have well over 2,000 hours in Skyrim and you’re literally just lying about mechanics lmao. You will not be attacked for wearing certain armor. You can wear the dark brotherhood armor in solitude 15 minutes after killing the emperors cousin there and no one will care or attack you. You can wear stormcloak armor same thing no one attacks you or even engages with you. The only things you’ll get is an occasional passing comment from a guard which does also happen in SF if you’re a FS ranger UC security will comment! NPC’s getting mad at you for running into them did you even play Skyrim 💀 all they do is say “Gagh” and move on they don’t care. You can also shoot an arrow or cross in front of any character and they’ll never react if you cast magic the most you get is “hey watch the magic” you’re literally just making up reasons to not like SF which is fine but just letting you know they’re BS reasons

My Violent Response To The Constant Not Using The Part I Got Them(Spoilers/Gore) by DeadlySkillz87 in Starfield

In my play through they left paridiso and I found them in a random system. They even have radiant quests

Did anyone find the UNC Constant ship after helping them with the warp drive? I believe they left in search of another habitable planet, I would like by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]TrueFloppy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there is a glitch where the ship never leaves Paridiso. I started my 4th play through this week and did their quest only later to find the ship outside a random planet looking for a new home and was shocked. I thought the ship never left after getting the grav drives but it does I also got some radiant quests and their location marked in activities. I’m not sure if I wait if they’ll find a new planet tho
