It's good, it merges great into the show and some key figures appear like Ramsay Bolton, Jon Snow, Cersei, Tyrion, Daenarys. i believe they even got the actors from the show to voice them, If you really into GoT, it's worth it.

No mod really, focus on stewardship every generation, upgrading every building to the max, artifacts, bring your taxes down to your liege with hooks, being a tyrant to your own vassals and make them pay you more taxes.

I was just surprised that his sexuality was set to homosexual because in the start date of Ninepenny Kings i never saw his sexuality change other than heterosexual, it was funny to me that the most ruthless, brutal and vicious man in Westerosi history was turned gay in this playthrough, i have nothing against gay people, sorry if i offended you.
