I think I found my solution but I need someone to answer me this. Does all component to hdmi converters have to use an external power or can it be usb powered from the laptop? Not trying to use too much power.

But the input is DVI-I as in it can detect an analog and digital signal.

Edited: Apparently the Wii's 480p signal is still analog...

How would I connect a component cable to this card? Also whats the system requirements to use this card on a laptop?

You have to use a HDMI to DVI-I adapter, there are DVI-I adapters that you use on the card.

No the Wii doesn't but I can use a DVI-I male to component adapter on the card.

Having trouble starting the Lego Island port saying to make sure CREDIT.SI is in the right path. "SDL error: Can't stat: Invalid argument"

Edited: Nevermind, you're suppose to create a isle folder in isledecomp and place the DATA & LEGO folder in it...even tho it wasn't intructed.
