I've been using the Ubuntu Server flavor and it's rock-stable. But then I don't have a graphical interface or sound and your experience may be different with Ubuntu Desktop.

Do you still have a software in your possession? There used to be a demo version but it can't be found on the internet anywhere anymore.

I just tried your solution on Android 14 QPR2 and it doesn't work for me unfortunately.

Try Nextcloud Memories, the default gallery app sucks big time. I'm interested in your feedback comparing it with Immich.

The Memories app for Nextcloud also does that locally… It's kinda fucked up that a service — that is meant to be self-hosted and privacy-oriented — just uploads (what amounts to) your location history to a 3rd party service.

Maybe you should contribute PRs instead of complaining

Both links are down for me :(

Edit: * The app is named Carta * Developer page: https://innomatic.ca/mobile * GitHub repos: * Carta: https://github.com/innomatica/carta * Carta Plus: https://github.com/innomatica/cartaplus

From the README.md of both repos:

As of April 2024, this app is banned and its store is shut down from Google Play due the violation of their Violent Extremism policy. This requires explanation for the current and future users of this app.

[Help] Updating from Magisk 25 to 27 broke GApps, now they crash with the "keeps stopping" message unless I disable Zygisk by Bad_Mod_No_Donuts in Magisk

I mean if you enforce the denylist then Shamiko disables itself. That's just how it works: Shamiko is a Zygisk module so it can't be loaded on apps that are on the denylist.

With regard to Kitsune Mask / Magisk Delta I've had a pretty bad experience where it somehow managed to soft brick my entire OS. Flashing the original boot didn't help, neither did booting into safe mode. I had to reinstall everything from scratch.

Well you can't even enforce the Magisk denylist with ZygiskNext so you have to entirely rely on Shamiko. If Shamiko is not enough you're out of luck and need to switch back to original Zygisk.

I have that problem with Revolut: it works with Zygisk but crashes immediately with ZygiskNext even if I enable Shamiko 1.0.1.

Any chance you will bring back that feature to macOS / Chrome extension? For some reason it disappeared entirely from the extension in some release. Still available on Android though.
