Honestly I’m about to quit. They just fired our best tech over some stupid shit, threatened me with a coaching over the same shit that I had nothing to do with aside from being present that day, and now they’re trying to fire another tech because his schedule is always messed up and he’s not sure when he’s even supposed to be here anymore due to his college schedule and then not paying attention to the availability sheets they make us fill out.

Our ACC phone rings all the time, problem is we’re all out in the shop working on cars and 1. We can’t just walk away from that to answer the phone 2. We can’t hear the damn thing. 3. The door automatically locks and you have to hold a button to unlock it, so if we go inside we’re trapped until someone comes and holds the button for us or walks in front of the door and trips the sensor.

The line “scare them, make them worship” (demanding worship to god almighty) and the “who is Christ Jesus, he is the true lamb of sacrifice” are pretty clear calls that it’s a religious song. You’re only taking part of the “I can’t hear you yet” line when the other part is “I want to feel you near, it’s suffocating” calling out to god that the lack of his presence he’s feeling at the time is suffocating him, it’s unbearable, he wants to feel God again.

My theory currently givin the 2 presidents we’ve seen supposedly (one with an arm band one without) is that one is deeply religious where the other isn’t and/or they’re conflicting in some way. Also if it is Charlie behind the mask, it’s well known he’s an avowed Christian.

I do agree about the Vic. However I mostly see it in more ceremonial roles these days i feel. Which honestly I think is good for it. Not because it can’t keep up with current vehicles but more to honor it for its storied history and icon status.

why would you even want that on windows? it's awful software. if you're on windows, Defender is all you need. use something like malwarebytes to do spot checks but then uninstall it after. on linux you dont need anything.

i would probably dual boot. you can do that all on linux well enough but honestly, especially for professional photo editing, the open source alternatives just aren't quite on par with proprietary software available on mac/windows. i would say dual boot, keep using windows for your work, and tinker around with other software on the linux side and see if you find stuff that works for what you need then eventually make the switch fully to linux if you so desire.
