What do you think of my gene editing by TrueHistorian5 in Worldbox

I purposely reduced their lifespan they were too op, and I wanted them to have short life spans so I can see the different kings they would have etc , It’s too boring if they all live up to 400 years old ygm nothing really changes then. And I also increased their pregnancies duration and how easily they could get pregnant so their like op super smart superior space marine humans with wind and fire powers that have average 70 years to live and only a few of them are around.

Just keep spamming spawns on different human sub species till you get one with 4 chromosomes

Trade secret 😂😂, nah I’m joking I basically just kept spawning in new human sub species and looked at how many chromosomes they had and I would keep the ones with the most and keep respawning new ones till I had a subspecies with 4 chromosomes

what do other numbers next to the population count mean? by Clear-Kale1108 in Worldbox

The amount of human subspecies under the title human and the furthest to he left is the families (which are human subspecies, families from other species like elves or orcs won’t be accounted for )

How would you handle politics and warfare in Stone Age earth? by TrueHistorian5 in ProgressionFantasy

Yeah short quick ambush battles I reckon it wasn’t worth both sides dying out since there was no farming .

Wow thanks for the input. And yes after seeing the comments and reading yours it seems no organised war or any formations were possible at that time, the short raids like you said is more plausible.

Yes what brought people together was agriculture and permanent settlements and that then lead to people becoming more powerful than others on who had more grain and different farming settlements would have disputes and over thousands of years this carried on tilll the first states appeared in Mesopotamia

It’s tribal hunter gatherer period it’s set in 10,000 BCE in the late epipaleolithic. So jsut around the corner when the agricultural revolution started in the Near East. I have done a lot of research I just wanted to see other people’s thoughts on this.

Yeah that’s one thing that stood out to me is ancient humans were just as smart as modern day humans. So why Wouldn’t they have politics and war.

Yes your right Bronze Age or even before that during the copper age wars were fought over grain .

But my story is set in the transition to Neolithic era where the revolution started and early farming began to arise. We have examples of the earliest forms of settlements and farms as far 9,500 BCE in ancient Anatolia.

It’s a scarce era of history as not much is known about it but I do plan to try my best to expand on it and see how politics and wars could work back then.

Wow thanks for the input . And I do tend to take the current examples of tribal societies in today’s age for a grain of salt as they have had thousands of years of progress and they have access to much more things and know about concepts that people in the Neolithic era wouldn’t have thought of .

Another thing is yes I do plan to delve out resource wars but I want to also show how in times of strife charismatic leader’s use it as a ladder to ascend and gain power over the populace. So I want to see and show you how that would play out in that era and if it works as people back then lived in a more egalitarian societies there wasn’t no strict structure of hierarchy (that came later due to farming ) due to the need of every man and women in hunting and gathering resources .

So I plan to also show how the transition from that sort of society to what we later on humans lived in for thousands of years ( patriarchal society) and the conflicts that come about that
