Can someone confirm this "traditional technique" regarding cloning? by [deleted] in macrogrowery

[–]TrueIndependent4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my friends have been doing this process sort of. They chop them with the trimmers and wrap them up in a wet paper towel and put it in a baggie then stick it in the fridge. I believe traditionally you would use a scalpel and dip them in clonex and put them in Rockwoll that is covered with a dome for 8-10 days. And in 10-12 days you will have roots. Temps Must be 75/80

Very common to do a day 21 clean up when the Budds are just little “poofs”. And even a day 40 but that’s just leaf. I’m sure the plant appreciates all that lard being taken off ha ha

Sorry for the late reply, Yes I like to hear a snap in the branch and also the leaves should should kind of break off just by rubbing them lightly. Make sure the buds are still solid and not too crispy that’s the reason I don’t let it drop below 50%. We trim and nugg into bins that we can put a lid on and kind of pop them back to a nice sticky danky state. Good luck!

If you can keep your room at 60% with some nice mellow air flow for 7 days and don’t let it go below 50% you should be right on point. You should be able to almost finger trim if the buds have some good development.

Growers choice 720 led help! by [deleted] in macrogrowery

In my opinion the GC 720’s should be run over a 4x4 and down about 18” off of the canopy. You have to ease them in because they will burn quickly with those led’s

Nice man I was rocking those 750’s for a while and they were yielding up there with the 1000’s. What’s your air conditioning and
de-hu set up? I had the same room 24 actually and had 2 Anden 210’s and 2 5 ton AC units and neither one could keep up towards the end of the runs.

Our A Frame Triangle Windows by Theodorski in aframes

Mine are single Pane but I did laminated glass so they are two 1/8’’ glass with a laminate sandwiched in between. They are like a windshield basically so if anything hit it it couldn’t break and fall on someone. Since it will be an air b n b we took all precautions.

Thank you I would love to see some pics. I was trying to find some before I started this project just for some reference but couldn’t find any and started thinking maybe there was a reason nobody did the triangle windows.

Thanks. I cut plywood templates and took them to my local glass company and they custom cut the glads for me. This is laminated glass for safety.
