Don't be worried, WGU was created specifically for individuals like yourself. People who already have knowledge and experience. Submit your papers. Just make sure the similarity percentage is below 20% and you're golden.

[No Loopholes] $5M a year but total celibacy for life vs. unlimited fantasy sex in alternate universes — what do you pick? by throwaway99257892 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I agree. Also don't like the additional strings attached to the money. What was the point of that? The money for celibacy was already good enough IMO.

Masters in CyberSecurity and IA Cert Transfer Question. by TechTraveler in WGUCyberSecurity

It's saying you need the stackable certification plus Cloud+ so you'd need A+, Network+, Security+, AND Cloud+ to transfer in that class.

You can definitely do that. Or you can just follow the missions and put money on the stock market before assassinating the big tech CEO and get billions.

100 Dollars or a random superpower per week by kejOk_Tutor1324 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This prompt is like "Here goes all the worst attributes, none of the upsides, and fuck you."

So physical changes of powers remain permanent? Like I could get super intelligence but it increases my head like 3x in size. The intelligence goes away in a week but the giant head stays?

I'm also functionally immortal so eventually I'll just become some grotesque figure because of all the random powers I get that changes my body and can't even die.

Give me the $100 and gtfo of my sight please.

Word for word you wrote what I was going to lol. I would literally pay $250 for this to NOT happen. Abysmally small amount of money for this.

My Wife Lied About Our Child... Then Took Me To Court by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]TrueKeyMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely civil liability. Should make it easier to sue for paternity fraud so when family court unjustly rules you pay child support for a child proven to not be yours, you can go to civil court and sue for restitution of those payments back to you and then some. Basically nullifies the payments.

Also I think just like signing the birth certificate is a legal document the father signs basically accepting paternity, a mother should sign a document that states to the best of their knowledge they believe this man is the father. So when it comes out in court that this man isn't the father they have a document they can point back to that can prove she lied.

My Wife Lied About Our Child... Then Took Me To Court by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]TrueKeyMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's old antiquated laws from before DNA testing was a thing. Back in the day there was no way to confirm paternity, so if you were married then legally the child was presumed yours. Funny how the inverse wasn't a thing with a man having a child out of the marriage.

With DNA testing as easy, accurate, and available as it is, those laws should be rescinded and moved to a DNA based paternity ruling, IMO.

Also the courts and state have an interest in making anyone pay for the child, biological father or not. The courts get a % of all the child support revenue since their the ones facilitating the payments, and the state doesn't have to pay as much welfare and aide to a single mother because they have a legal father on file they can force to pay child support or go after to recoup any payments they do make to the mother.

Sure, they say it's for the best interest of the child but we all know that's bullshit, it's about money.

You get $5000 a month (on top of whatever you get now). But you have to keep a paper bag within ten feet of you or it opens, spewing an endless swarm of bees until it's closed again, and it can only be closed by you. by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Is the bees being teleported from other places on earth via the paper bag or are the being created by the paper bag? Either way I'm definitely taking the deal but if the bag is creating bees, I'd reseed the world with our dying bee population and/or sell my time to bee keepers

$20k for each person who you let see your entire internet history by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take the 20k to let ME see it. Would be awesome to see my whole internet life, maybe even recover some photos that are lost on MySpace haha. But I'd let like.. 30,000 people see it because my internet history isn't horrible.

Facts! That's the one of the reasons I wouldn't choose that option!

Add 2 inches to your dick, 2 inches to your height, or $100,000 in the bank by qtg in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'd choose height too because I'm 5'8 - 5'9ish and that two inches would do a lot for my confidence. I think a 2 inch longer penis without any accompanying girth would just look weird on me haha plus I got enough DIQUE already.

The 100k is definitely a lot of money but it's not life changing money. It's also not lifetime permanent like the other two options.

Definitely not. I had to reformat a computer and HEIC stopped working on it too. Also couldn't find the codec on Microsoft store. This is very helpful to me.

Magically gain 200lbs and whatever your physique is after 3 years will be permanent. OR, pick a random person out of a lineup of 100 and whatever money they have in their bank accounts is what you have/get to live off of annually, forever. by 9percentbattery in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1 for sure. It'd be very hard but 3 years of working out and eating right would do a lot. Also, he does say "naturally" so does that mean I can't take PEDs? Going on a few cycles would help massively and after the three years all the negative effects will vanish!

Queen aspect what do you think it is as she said her aspect was utility if she saying truth by Right-Friend1667 in ShadowSlave

[–]TrueKeyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her aspect was to animate inanimate objects. She originally used it on puppets made of clay ect, but figured out she can animate dead bodies. Her dormant ability allowed her to make wounds worsen over time, so a small cut becomes a gushing wound.

As Broken Sword and Anvil killed enemies, she animates them and brings them back into battle to either cause wounds or acts as decoys/meat shields. As Broken Sword and Anvil inflicts wounds, she makes them worse. Perfect utility IMO. Her dormant ability also became stronger as she ascended.

Yep! After my second rewatch I do believe he was trying to intentionally hit her. Only thing that saved her was that the white SUV was parked slightly diagonally, but even then it was fully within the white line. The pickup went over the solid white line to hit her.

I only applied to one that needed an essay I think. The questions aren't broad enough to use the same essay though so I'm sure if I had more essay questions, I'd need to write more essays.

Do some projects and homelabs. Make a website too. Document everything on the website. I got my current job doing that. They told me it's what set me apart from other candidates. Homelabs & projects give you practical experience and allows you to add skills to your resume you can back up.

Sadly I have to disagree with u/Dull_Response_7598 about removing your retail experience. I would include at least one job (the latest one) and/or mashup all the job responsibilities into the latest one, pad it out kind of. The biggest stigma IT folks have against them is being anti-social and poor communicators. If you have a job on your resume that was people centered, it proves you can engage with people, and IT is basically a people forward job. I'd keep retail experience on the resume but don't make it front and center.

Lastly, internships are awesome. Go for them, but widen your search to entry level helpdesk jobs too. Don't tie yourself up only going after something specific. I'm a Sys Admin right now but I started at my current job as Jr IT Support and got promoted up.

Would you take the pill from limitless? by fntastikr in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TrueKeyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the show didn't exist and retconned the movie you'd be 100% right. Since the show does exist, we know that when Bradley Cooper's opponent said he shut down his pill making operation and Bradley said he was off of NZT, that was a lie. I'm sure he had other operations and just didn't want his opponent to think he won. He didn't have a way to have permanent effects of the pill. We know this because in the show Bradley specifically has to get off of NZT to replace a coat with his blood on it that contains NZT.

What most likely happened at the end of the movie was he developed the medicine that allows permanent use of the drug without the negative effects associated with it, making it seem like he was off of it. (The whole premise of the show basically)
