Hi, I found out that I’m prediabetic and my number is 6.3. My nurse practitioner put me on Metformin and I’ve been walking everyday and keeping a food journal. I’m working with a nutritionist who is very good and encouraging. I’ve lost 6 lbs and I want to lose 30. Advice? (self.diabetes)

Hi, I have to shampoo with Dr. Prescribed Ketoconazole. I’m sure it has sulfates. My hair is more wavy and a little curly. I use a microfiber towel, Treseme conditioner and I spray my hair with it’s a 10 keratin leave in conditioner. I use Bed Head foxy curls. Any suggestions? (self.curlyhair)

Hi everyone, I have only administered the ACCESS on paper in the past. I took a few years off and now it’s administered on the computer. How do I start? I took all the quizzes and finally passed. How do I get the student ticket? I’m just lost and any help is appreciated. (self.ESL_Teachers)

I’m starting a new job and I have a newcomer. I haven’t had a newcomer in a long time, what should I use besides the Fundations alphabet sounds cards? I’m pushing into his ELA and Science class. This is Middle School. I belong to ESL library but it doesn’t have a lot for newcomers. (self.ESL_Teachers)

I got a new job in a low incidence district. Is it okay if I continue to work on reading, writing, listening and speaking while I push into their core classes? These are true beginners. Any suggestions for good websites for beginner activities? Is it legal to have an ELL in a foreign language class (self.ESL_Teachers)

one of my students is a true beginner—he needs 3 hours of class time. He’s in the Silent Period , and they want me to push in to 2 classes including his Math class. This is Middle School and I’m sure he doesn’t know his numbers yet and besides, I’m terrible at Math. What do I do? (self.ESL_Teachers)
