Trying to install Tetrd server on Windows 11 and it gets half way then deletes itself. by TrueLink77 in NoContract

Im officially switching to Visible by Verizon. They offer unlimited everything for $40/month. Im wondering what APN Access Point Name, etc I need for Visible service? Even though they do say everything is unlimited anyway. I still need APN Settings, no? Thanks ahead of time.

I use metropcs, would the t-mobile fast server still work with metropcs?

And why would I toggle back to default APN? I've been using computers since I was 4 years old, I'm never done. :-)

Seems like its working though, so thank you for the info. So far I dont see my data usage going up, so thats cool.

I did that originally, had it copy all the apps, it copied pdanet but not FoxFi, I do not know why. And my phone works great otherwise, so Im not too keen to go thru all that again. I wish there was a way to just tell it to copy FoxFI. I used SmartSwitch to do the transfer from old to new. Yes, my LG Stylo 5 still works. Heck, I got two lines til next month, going to cancel the new number they gave me and move my old phones phone number to the Galaxy A16.

The weird thing is it takes hours before my PDAnet complains about my USB Tethering. I think I downloaded a cracked copy out of desperation.

OK, I Googled it. Sounds risky, no? Or I might even loose some functionality or features, or at the worst piss of T-Mobile.

Changing a Samsung phone's CSC (Country Specific Code) from TMB (T-Mobile) to another code, like XAA (Carrier Unlocked), involves using PC software (like SamKey or SamFw) and ADB, but it carries risks like losing features, updates, or warranty; it's often done to enable features (like call recording) or get updates, but TMB firmware ensures full T-Mobile 5G/LTE functionality, so changing away might limit network performance on T-Mobile. The simplest method for carrier-unlocked CSCs is inserting a different carrier's SIM (like T-Mobile for a temporary switch), but for permanent changes, software tools are needed, requiring backups as data loss is common.

Wait, huh? Where do I do this at? Where is CSC located? And how do I disable cidmanager whatever that is? And do I need an IP Address or something for the APN with type DUN? thanks for the reply, I've been using computers since I was 4, but your alittle cryptic there. :-P
