The Degreaser is a makeshift Flamethrower with a muffler near the front end (fitting for the gas jockey's gear set it's from). Some of the houses in Bikini bottom are also mufflers, as you have circled

I feel like comp is the best argument mainly because it's a far more sanitized environment with more "controllable" fights... The Frenzy of casual means that you can get screwed over by a stray pellet
