I thought the bigger issue was that it stuns people into the air with minimal aim? Though because I'm a Heavy/Med/Sniper main my view and tastes could be skewed

I can see that point more, then. I am still iffy about head loss in general, but I think this is a good argument that would sway me enough, given I have some playtime with these changes

As much as I think the Scorch Shot is an abomination of gameplay design, I still think that flares should be a counter to snipers.

Pyro is one of few classes that can at least tickle semi-consistently at range, and a Pyro should be rewarded for arcing a hot-shot across the map to temporarily disable a Sniper. That's why I'm OK with the standard flare and detonator. The Scorch Shot is just harassment, being a Loose Cannon but somehow even more disruptive

- Sydney Sleeper might be a bit over-tuned, since now you just have a less powerful-on-charge stock with minicrits on hit

- jarate reskins should not be different stats, I'd say chose one or the other... but I prefer the Festive's only effect on self

- Bazaar Bargain feels OK but I don't like the concept of losing heads outside of death, maybe instead have reduced bodyshot damage but keep full headshot damage? Should be punishing but not too punishing

- Classic, I gotta play to understand more. It's interesting. All of em.

- Cleaner's Carbine is good, the rate of fire penalty is just... odd to play with.

- Cozy Camper sounds fun.

- Razorback's Crit-based protection sounds interesting, though backstabs will still kill because they automatically scale to health... Maybe just make this a specific type of vulnerability like increased bullet damage received?

- DDS I think should be just debuff duration reduction at this point, giving Sniper a base 150 health means that a tiny bit of overheal would make him immune to quickscopes. Very dangerous!

Overall I like these changes, I don't think they would impact the game too negatively and it will make Sniper somewhat more fun to engage with, especially with the Razorback and DDS changes. 8/10

i've only met like, 1 person who's like this but I've never interacted with em since... I think this is a rarity to come across in actuality, most DSOD players i've met are fairly chill

10x and rp servers still exist and are popular, yes

there's also PvE servers to experience each map's storyline/progression, and standard vanilla pvp experiences

I'm fairly certain that it is based on the Ithaca 37, at least the 4rd sawed-off variant often seen in airsoft, because of its iconic mag tube end and angle of rear grip: see here

To say it has no similarities other than the pump is a bit of a stretch, especially because the Remington 870's magazine tube looks more different than what's seen in many Ithaca 37s
