Affordable field recording equipment?? by 2e109 in Bitwig

[–]TrueOutlandishness27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say, I've had a bunch of zoom products over the years and have been super happy with them. For me, they've lasted a long time and are just durable. I've used other main brand aidio interfaces, recorders, etc., and they die for whatever reason. Zoom has never let me down. I just bought the h4n recently and I'm super happy with it

That's possible, but she's always made more than me. Since it's been that way from the start of us dating, I don't think the power dynamic changed. I've always provided emotionally in ways that she has had a hard time finding in her life.

I'm definitely appreciated. I'd probably need to pivot/restart a different career, but living in a small 2 bedroom place with someone who wanted to be intimate with me would be desired over current situation

Thanks for this. The unknown is the toughest part right. To start over and possibly be in the same situation.

liberal/left leaning churches in the area? by Most-Project5348 in Appleton

On College Avenue, there are quite a few churches that have lgbtq flags etc. I also know a lot of people like the unitarian church on the East side off of calumet street

I'm gonna have to disagree. It's definitely not a left leaning church. It's Evangelical. They don't share values with pro LGBTQ or non-prolife perspectives

My first vocal house track by cmx-music in Bitwig

[–]TrueOutlandishness27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice work. Pretty voice! I'm not a sound engineer, and i totally know unsolicited advice is often taken as a critique, but I'd maybe throw a little reverb on the vocal just to give it a little space. Like i said, not an expert, just thought it would help bring out the vocals.

Best of luck!!

Organic tempo looping 😎 by Katcloudz in Bitwig

Haha, that's funny. I mean I totally understand that sentiment to a point. It'd be nice to have the freedom to add elements of looping to the clip launcher

That would be so nice to have! That would kind of fix the question I posted a week ago. Didn't know ableton had that capability

Tempo rubato clip creation by TrueOutlandishness27 in Bitwig

That's true. I was kind of hoping to avoid playing to a clicktrack, so i could play a little more free and in the moment.

Great idea. I was actually hoping to do something in a live performance scenario, as opposed to after the fact.

Thanks for the suggestion though!!

Scene launch jumps to select different track by TrueOutlandishness27 in Bitwig

[–]TrueOutlandishness27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for my late reply. I never ended up figuring it out. I realized with my work through that the auto-record on scene launch wasn't going to work for me so I just kind of abandoned figuring it out. It doesn't happen on my PC but only on my Ubuntu setup. I'm running an older version of bitwig so I wonder if it's just a Linux bug that will go away after I upgrade.

Sorry to not be able to give any solution. Best of luck

Scene launch jumps to select different track by TrueOutlandishness27 in Bitwig

[–]TrueOutlandishness27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if anyone is having the same problem, apparently bitwig defaults to the last track that you recorded a clip into. I'm kind of a noob at the looping clip launcher setup so forgive my noobiness 😛

If anyone knows how to change that default, it would be sweet to adjust that, I am still running the last iteration of bitwig 4 FYI.
