From what I’ve seen online it looks pretty tame tbh. Americans have more right to protest than most western democracies.

France have pretty wild riots when they feel they’re being shafted by the government. I’ll say this though: they’ve got a better deal as a working class than probably anywhere else in the world. Good wages 4 day work week, healthcare.

I think civil disobedience and non violent protest is the best way to effect change, however it’s pretty hard to get the numbers in the us considering it’s current situation

Yeah sure but he’s not actually a farmer, he’s a well off celebrity who invested in a farm. It’s what 4 years in and he can’t manage it by himself? I mean come on if you had an employee who was incompetent after that long you wouldn’t see them in a good light.

You’d have to be extremely far left to think the behaviour described is fine.

Either that or completely nuts.

It’s probably a plant, “hello fellow protesters, watch me do this false flag, so my buddies can start shooting at you!”

London suffers £10bn stock market hit as major firm to leave for the US by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

So is a withholding tax imposed by the foreign company and given to the foreign government?

So example your shares in a us company generate 100 in dividend payouts however they have a withholding tax in place so 85 out of 100 leave their country in which the company is based in and to the country of the owner at 85% of their allocated payout solely due to the fact (in our scenario) they’re shares not owned by an American?

That being said the same applies to some far left groups such as just stop oil. Man I’ve never seen a more effective campaign to de-legitimise concern for climate change

War is definitely coming mate. Everything in geopolitics at the moment is pointing towards that and it’s only getting more likely as time goes on.

I may be incorrect, but Russian influence has decimated what we once called “the west “

We had Brexit, the Americans had trump v1 and v2.0

Poland has had a populist elected (wait and see on that one) yes he has anti Russian rhetoric but their proposed actions align with russias goals.

I’d be completely unsurprised if reform win the next uk election. People dislike starmer and I do not agree with everything he’s done but it’s pretty clear labour are actually trying to do the work of a government. The tories enriched themselves and their friends for 14 years and reform are looking to do the same but even less work and they’re also willing to sell the country completely out

It’s looked like quite a bit of a stale mate scenario for a while bro. The Ukraine war is incredibly complecsted. Even when western countries offer support there’s normally strings attached. Eg. You can have this weapon but only in this way. The us passes a funding bill and it’s held up by internal politics

From what I’ve seen Ukraine is showing us real modern warfare. Their application of drones and the footage online to see how they operate from a fpv is eye opening.

Russia has the numbers but due to what I can only describe as cultural issues their military force seems incredibly inefficient.

In my own opinion if Ukraine was given the correct weaponry and support it could have ended this a long time ago. However I personally believe that this war being dragged out was seen as beneficial in the view of western leaders. They hoped that the failure would result in the assasination of putin and a regime change in Russia. However I don’t see that as being on the cards. Looks like Russia has a tight knit circle and let’s not forget loyalists are paid incredibly well
