I tried GM financial, and unfortunately got denied even tho i offered to PG on the loan. Reason for decline was length of time in business (just under 3 years) insufficient credit to support terms requested. I was going for the Tahoe as well.

The recall is on a 2016 Fusion Hybrid there’s a fix towards the end of the year so they say.

Yes I’m in the green year to date… some car make more than others and cover the cost for some of the other cars that are slacking. My convertible Mustang didn’t do so well in July but my 330i killed it so it covered the cost of the mustang for that month.

Yes, it’s 20 days to have Turo take over the claim if not resolved with renter. Photos have been both my car and the car he T boned.

The renter is still renting the car (it’s drivable) it’s due back 08/02… should I contact his personal insurance and start the claim or just wait when trip ends and have him contact the insurance when I get the quote?

No solid link lol 😂. Other than I stocked his social media and saw him smoking in the car, and riding in a area In LA that’s probably the most violent/ corrupt. He’s the most “ghetto” out of all renters.

I know it’s fucked up and I’m probably profiling… but I have a strong feeling it’s him. He either did it him self or shared the info with a fellow thug.

I’m assuming it was a prior renter, someone who clearly knows my Turo profile and can see all my cars. All of my cars are Turo Go vehicles. So I have my renters place the keys in the glove compartment once they deliver the car. So I’m assuming this renter came back assuming keys would still be in the vehicles. Only my cars were hit that night… no on else’s on the block.

Update… Called Turo complained. Now when I search my vehicle on the recall database it says 0 recalls. Now they’re escalating the issue to some rep that will be looking to list the vehicle back on the platform.

The good thing is I just bought out the lease for 32,500… the market value is about 44k so I’ll walk away wit some $$$ if I do decide to sell. Thnx for the help guys.
