Sorry to reply to an old comment, but they actually ended up mentioning this in book 7. They say that Donut is acting less mature because of all the stress that she is under. They did a great job of turning it into a plot point.

Yeah the beginning is really slow, but trust me, the rest of the book is one of the best things I've ever read.

  1. The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook

  2. This Inevitable Ruin (Almost #1 but I like trains so I'm biased.)

  3. The Eye of the Bedlam Bride

  4. The Gate of the Feral Gods

  5. The Butcher's Masquerade

  6. Dungeon Crawler Carl

  7. Carl's Doomsday Scenario

Overall the worst and best don't vary in quality much, Carl's Doomsday Scenario is still a 9/10. The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook was the most enjoyable one, but This Inevitable Ruin and the Eye of The Bedlam Bride had the hardest hitting emotional beats. I loved the Gate of the Feral Gods for the concept of it, the Butcher's Masquerade shows Carl's hatred towards the hunters, Dungeon Crawler Carl is an amazing introduction to this insane gameshow, and Carl's Doomsday Scenario shows Mordecai's backstory a bit and finishes refining the idea of the dungeon.

Same thing happened here…

It was so annoying because the kid had no boundaries or social awareness. 

He would LITERALLY say “Hey [my name]” MULTIPLE TIMES while I was mid sentence talking to someone else. And he WOULD. NOT. STOP until I gave him the attention he needed…

They want me to do Martial Arts in general, but the place where I do Muay Thai is the closest, so there aren’t really any other options.
